So you should have arrived here from Cindy's blog. If you didn't you might want to go back and check out her fabulous creations! If you didn't start at the beginning, then you need to go back to Kristi's Blog.
Ok so tonight I'm showing you how darn useful the Ribbon Riley is. I googled ribbon colours & their meaning, and found this great site Craft's n' scraps
These cards are pretty simple, I wanted the ribbon & colour to be the focus.
All the Ribbon Riley's were stamped onto white & coloured with copics. I matted each with the matching ribbon colour.

Please leave a comment by Monday Oct. 5th at 7pm est to be entered.
The winners will be announced at the Release Party tomorrow, Monday October 5th 9pm to 11pm est. on the Hanna Stamps Forum at SCS. Next stop, Cathy's Blog!
I hope to see you there!

Laurie, I love your Ribbon Riley cards! The simplicity of these are so perfect and thanks so much for the link on the meaning of the ribbon colors. I didn't know that the each color represented many different organizations and causes. And I'm thrilled to find that Ewing's Sarcoma, a cancer a very young friend suffers from is represented with the yellow ribbon. Oh, I'm getting this one for sure!
ReplyDeleteWhat a versatile stamp! You have done a great job of changing the whole meaning of the card. Your coordinated mounts are perfect!
