Hello, it's Day 2 of the Mark's Finest Blog Hop, and I get to show you something I made with the new set 'Christmas Postage Due'. I originally made this for the Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge #28, paper piercing...because I thought it was paper piecing!!! Now onto the card. I stamped the Nutcracker 3 times onto white, coloured in his face with copics, then I cut the Nutcracker out of the stamp! I stamped him onto 3 different colours in the Basic Grey Oliver pkg. Then I paper pieced his coat & hat, added gold pen to the stripes and backed them with white textured cardstock from MFP, and then red. The top was made with the fancy tag die.
The card base is riding hood red, with textured white (MFP) and dp from Basic Grey's Olivier. The Nutcrackers are popped up and I finished them off with buttons and linen thread!
