I'll be honest, my mojo has been missing, and you wouldn't believe how much paper I cut & embossed before settling for this combo!!! Just one of those days!

I used chocolate chip cardstock for this card and all the dp is from Basic Grey's Origins 6x6 pad.

I stamped the mug on dp and cut it out. The mugs are popped up and the steamy swirl was made with the EK swirl flourish punch. The sentiment was stamped with rich cocoa and punched with the medium oval. Both the oval and the steam swirls were lightly sponged with Tim Holtz distress ink in antique linen.

Stamps: Coffee Brawd
Paper: Chocolate chip, white, Basic Grey Origins
Ink: Memento tuxedo black, rich cocoa, Tim Holtz antique linen
Accessories: Marvy square scallop punch, nestie tag trios, oval punch, EK swirl flourish, EK corner punch, micro brads, ribbon, dimensionals

F4A4, C4C29, White Chocolate Bunny Basket!

Hello, I made this for last weeks Free 4 all challenge F4A4, we were to make a basket of any kind and use the colours barely banana, certainly celery and perfect plum.
I think this also fits the C4C29, to make something spring.

I used the Easter Basket Tutorial on the resources page at SCS. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually bigger than I expected!
I stamped the Chocolate Bunny onto very vanilla with versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I made 3 bunnies and cut them out.
The flowers were made with the MS hydranga punch and some tiny brads. I know it would look better filled with candy, but if I buy it now, I'll end up eating it!
I popped the middle bunny up on dimensionals.
Stamps: Chocolate Bunny
Paper: barely banana, perfect plum, very vanilla, dp
Ink: versamark
Accessories: clear ep, MS hydranga punch, tiny brads, dimensionals, elastic cord
Have a Great Day!

TSMONDAY21, Poor Sick Brawd!

Poor Coffee Brawd has caught a bug and she's feeling nasty! Maybe some chicken soup will help her feel better! lol

This weeks Monday challenge (yep I'm late) at Totally Stampalicious, TSMONDAY21 is to use polka dots and ribbon!

I made this pouch using the Pull-up Treat tutorial at SCS. I just changed the size to fit my Chicken soup pouch. I started with a piece of dp 6.5" x 10.5".

The band was made with bermuda bay and more mustard that was embossed with the swiss dot EF.

Coffee Brawd was stamped onto white, coloured with copics, including the bags under her eyes and spots! Her robe was paper pieced.

So even if you're not a coffee drinker, this set is versatile!

Just incase you missed it, Totally Stampalicious is currently looking for Guest Designers! If you're interested please follow this link Guest Designer Call for all the information. Deadline for entries is Thursday April 1, 2010.

Recipe for today:
Stamps: Coffee Brawd
Paper: bermuda bay, more mustard, chocolate chip, white, SU DP
Ink: memento black & rich cocoa
Accessories: copics, swiss dot EF, circle/scallop nesties, slot punch, ribbon, dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by!

RILEY0510, Break Out The Pastels!

Hello Everyone! I'm the Hostess for the bi-weekly challenge at Riley and Company this week, and I challenge you to break out the pastels and make something! It can be a card or anything else you fancy. Treat baskets are popular right now with Easter around the corner and pastels remind me of spring and Easter! You can share your creation with us by posting a comment with a link here or on the Riley and Company blog here. Of course if you belong to SCS or any other forums please use the keyword RILEY0510, so we can find it easily!

This card is a reminder to enjoy life, remember playing in the rain during a sun shower when you were young, now that was fun!

I used bashful blue for my card base today, with a layer of white and a layer or pretty in pink embossed with the bloom dots EF. The image Rainy Day Riley, is coloured with copics. The umbrella handle has a bit of sparkle added with the stardust sakura pen, and the raindrops and puddle are covered with stickles.

The sun is barely banana cut with the inverted scallop nestie and sponged. The grass is a Martha Stewart punch.
My Girlfriend went away and left her Cricut with us so we could play with it! So on Thursday afternoon Olivia, her 2 friends and I gave it a try. The kids totally loved it, they made tons of stuff! I made clouds...I love these clouds! I'm going to make a bunch before I have to return the cricut! I made them using the Graphically Speaking cartridge. Each cloud is 1/4" smaller than the previous. pretty cool eh! I used dimensionals between the layers to give it dimension. I also popped up the grass.
The sentiment was made with justrite letters and the vertical block.
So lets see what you can do with pastels! remember to use the keyword RILEY0510 when uploading to a gallery.
Thanks
Laurie

A little R & R!

Phew, no moosework for Riley today! He's taking a day for rest & relaxation! lol I love the colours on this one, I picked the dp first and went from there.

I used the new TV Riley, and the re-released wood floor and Things Riley might say on this card. I stamped the image on white coloured with copics and cut out. Then I stamped the floor onto white, cut out with an oval nestie and sponged in the wall colour. I curved the clear sentiment stamp to fit along the curve of the oval. Then I added Riley and the TV to the oval.

The card base is navy and to add a little interest, I cut three panels from yoyo yellow and basic greys june bug dp. It's finished off with some navy satin ribbon.

I hope you had fun on the blog hop last night and seeing all the fabulous new designs! If you haven't hopped yet, it's open til 10 pm tonight (Thurs 18 March). To start at the beginning, check out Tanya's Blog. Each Design Team member is giving away one free Riley to one randomly drawn commentor. Leave a comment on each blog for 9 chances to win!

Have a Great Day!
