RILEY2111, Orange & Black!

Hi everyone, it's time for another fun challenge from the Riley and Company Design Team! This weeks challenge Hostess is Margie, and she's challenging us to use the colours orange and black!

I used the newly released Bridezilla. She's coloured with copics and I added diamond stickles to her dress!

I didn't have enough black brads, so I made my own. The smaller ones on the right side were made with the smallest hole punch on the cropadile. The larger ones on the left were made with the larger hole punch on the cropadile. I glued them in place and then covered them with crystal effects.

I also used last weeks sketch challenge SC354.

If you want to play along, just leave a comment on the Riley and Company Blog, with a link to your card. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2111.

Stamps: Bridezilla, weathered BG
Paper: black, white, peach parfait, scrap dp

Accessories: copics, skeleton scroll EF, MS cracks punches, cropadile, crystal effects, diamond stickles, dimensionals

TSMONDAY, Orange, Purple & Black!

Hi all, it's time for this weeks Totally Stampalicious Challenge! This week it's a colour challenge, we're challenging you to use the colours orange, purple and black!

I pulled out an oldie but goodie for this one! This cauldron stamp is from the Witch Brawd set! I coloured it with copics and added some purple glitter glue from MS.

The sketch is from Freshly made sketches FMS6!

The card base is black with a layer of peach parfait embossed with the skeleton scroll EF. I sponged the edges and used the MS rat/mouse edge punch which I think really suits it! The sentiment is also from the Witch Brawd set.

Please join in and play along! Just upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Stay tuned, we have a fabulous new release coming, you're going to love them!

Have a Great Day!

MMTPT167, Fishing Riley Referee!

Hello, this is my card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT167! This weeks challenge was to make a masculine card, with vertical black & white stripes, or horizontal rainbow stripes, and a fishing theme...I think I got everything! lol

This weeks Destination Station is to Chip in Ohio, he is the husband of fellow teapotter Karen (Redbugdriver). It sounds like Chip has had terrible problems with his foot resulting in his latest surgery (partial amputation), requiring him to be away from home for the next 3-6 weeks at a rehabiliation center. Hopefully this happy mail will make the time fly by!

I used Fishing Riley and coloured him with copics.

I love how this turned out, but I can't take full credit, I was inspired by this awesome card from PickleTree!

Recipe
Stamps: Fishing Riley
Paper: black, white, real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, certainly celery, bashful blue, baja breeze, dp welcome neighbour, recollections
Ink: memento tuxedo black, baja breeze, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie
Accessories: copics, Fiskars wave punch, die-namics sun & rainbow, ProvoCraft fish die, dimensionals, ribbon, button, twine, cupcake punch (cloud)

TSMONDAY, Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, we had our turkey dinner yesterday at my Mom's and it is so nice here, we actually sat outside! I don't ever remember a Thanksgiving that was this warm!

So the Totally Stampalicious Challenge this week is all about being grateful, so make a Thank You or Thanksgiving card!

Today I used Farmer Hawg, haven't inked him up in a while, and I used a sentiment from the set! I paired him up with the new spice cake dp from SU.

Farmer hawg was coloured with copics, then I cut him out with a square nestie & backed it with a square scallop nestie. I popped this panel up, and finished it off with some taffeta ribbon.

I also used last weeks SCS sketch challenge SC353.

Please join us in our challenge this week, just upoad your card or creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Have a Great Day,

MMTPT166, Get Well Hydrangea!

Hi All, I made this card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT166! This weeks Destination Station is to Sharon, who has had multiple surgeries on her foot that has been very problematic, and she needs some cheering up!

I also used the MOJO Monday sketch MOJO209!

Since Sharon loves hydrangeas, I decided to try and make one! This stamp is called Fat Mice Flower from Totally Stampalicious. I masked off the flower (which was a daisy) stamped the image, and coloured with copics.

The 3D hydrangea was easy, just fiddly! I punched 3 circles from wisteria wonder, 1-1/8", 3/4" & 1/2". Attach the 3/4" circle to the larger circle with dimensionals, and the the 1/2" circle on top of that with dimensionals. Then I punched 26 of the small flowers with the MS hydrangea punch. I added a drop of liquid pearls to the center, sponged the edges...very fiddly...and then shaped them so the petals curved up. I used liquid tombo glue to apply them, starting at the top and working my way down. It also helped to have my paper piercer handy or anything with a pointy end to help press them into place.

Recipe
Stamps: Fat Mice Flower, Ladybugs & carnation (MFP sentiment)
Paper: concord crush, wisteria wonder, white, certainly celery, dp cheerful treat
Ink: memento tuxedo black, concord crush, wisteria wonder, certainly celery
Accessories: copics, MS hydrangea, liquid pearls, circle punches, ribbon, MS rose leaf punch, butterfly EF, dimensionals

RILEY2011, Let's See Some Leaves!

Hello,I just wanted to say thanks to all those who stop by and take the time to leave comments, I really appreciate them, and Congratulations to all the Riley and Company Blog Hop winners!

It's time for a Riley and Company Challenge! Since it is offically fall, well in some countries, I'm challenging you to add a leaf or leaves to your card or project!

This is the new Riley Pottermoose, perfect for all those Harry Potter fans, I have a couple of those in my house!

I coloured Riley Pottermoose with copics, added crystal effects to his glasses and stickles to the stars and swirls left behind from his wand!

The card base is black, with a layer of more mustard and then a layer of glossy white. For the glossy layer, I used a brayer to add soft sky, blue bayou & not quite navy. I also sponged the darker colour around the edges.

The trees were made with a die-namics die, and I sponged the trunks & leaves. I finished it off with some twine and an owl charm!

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2011.

Have a Great Day!
