Yeah it's Riley Blog Hop Time!

Yeah it's blog hop time! I can't wait to see all the fantastic teasers the Riley and Company
Design Team has to show you!

Don't forget, if you leave a comment here, you have a chance to win a free new Riley! and if you leave a comment on each blog along the hop, you have a chance to win there too!

I made this card for my SIL Wendy. She's a florist, so I though of her right away when I saw this Flower Riley.

I punch a circle in a scrap of paper and sponged in the sun. Then I used a cloud template a friend gave me to sponge in the clouds (love that). The grassy hills were cut and then I sponged the edges and stamped on some texture with the itty bitty background set. I even broke out my sewing machine for this one! Of course it was acting up, so you can see the knots here & there! lol
The flowers were made with one of those tiny punches you see in the $1 store. They aren't very user friendly, my thumb was killing me after punching out all these flowers! I filled the centers with liquid pearls...still haven't figured out how to use that and make it look rounded!

This beautiful Thoughtful Flower Riley was stamped onto white & coloured with copics twice. Then I cut out his whole image and for the 2nd one I cut out his head, arms & flowers all in one piece. I then popped up Riley in the field and popped up the head piece on that! The flowers he's holding have liquid pearl centers too.

I thought of the sentiment tag at the end, so it didn't get sewn on...I know doesn't look quite right! Maybe I can use a marker and do some faux stitching there!

Now onto the next Blog! okay you should have arrived from Cathy's and from here you will go to Cindy's! If you didn't start at Tanya's then you missed the beginning, and you don't want to miss anything, trust me!

Stamps: Flower Riley, itty bitty backgrounds
Paper: so saffron, certainly celery, white
Ink: memento tuxedo black, so saffron, certainly celery, kiwi kiss, soft sky
Accessories: copics, cloud template, circle punch, sponges, tiny flower punch, liquid pearls, dimensionals, sewing machine

Happy Hopping,

Laurie
