FMS147, Fishing Time!

If you're looking for the Bugaboo Baby Blog Hop, you can find it here, or just scroll down!

Hello, I made this card for my BIL's birthday. I used the Fishing Rod from Bugaboo Stamps. It's coloured with copics and silver copic atyou spica on the reel.

I also used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS147.

The card base is midnight muse, with a layer of soft suede embossed with the woodgrain embossing folder.

I finished it off with some twine and I made a fish fly/bobby thing to match the image. It was really easy, I used an oval punch and cut the one end with scissors to narrow it. It was white so I coloured it with a red copic, then used a copic liner along the white stripe and a black marker around the outside edges. The hook was a safety pin a cut and bent then glued on the back.

It's Go Fishing Day!

It's Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug, we choose a holiday and let it inspire us! June 18th is Go Fishing Day, so I made a card using Beach Frog-fishing from Bugaboo stamps.

I coloured this cute little Beach Frog with copics, and added some silver with a gelly roll pen to the fishing rod, and crystal effects to his eyes.

The card base is from Recollections, with fish designer paper I found at a 2nd hand store and the striped paper is from KaiserCraft Animal Party. The fish was made with a Martha Stewart punch, from paper I made with glossy paper and some spray mists that I had in my stash.

I also used the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge DS153.

Bugaboo New Release, Kidz Fishing!

Hello, this is a New Release today at Bugaboo Stamps, called Kidz Fishing Boy! I coloured the image with copics and added you glitter & silver with  copic atyou spica & gelly roll pens.

The card base is a blue from Recollections, and I picked up this designer paper at a 2nd hand store a couple of years ago. I also added some drywall tape (I think that's what it's called) it's funny what you'll find in a crafter's stash!

If you pop on over to the Catch The Bug Blog, you can see more samples made using this cute new image.

Have a Great Day!
