Vacation Time!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug, and although this adorable little Pig isn't too old, he's definitely a Goodie and truth be told I couldn't wait to use him!

I made this card for my Niece's 18th Birthday. She going on her first trip down south soon so this seemed perfect! This is Pig Vacation from Bugaboo Stamps. I printed two and cut his head out of the second one and popped it up. I also added crystal effects to the sunglasses and his drink.

The card base is so saffron, with designer paper from Doodlebug-fruit stand pad. Then I finished it off with twine and a button.

I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC224

Bingo, AKV Baby Stork!

Hello, This weeks Challenge at Catch The Bug is Bingo
For my card I went straight across the bottom, Starts with B (baby), Bling (crystal brads), and 3 designer papers.
I used AKV Baby Stork from Bugaboo Stamps, which is perfect because I needed a card for my Niece's baby shower! I copied the image twice, coloured with copics, and cut the baby's head out to pop up!

The card base is so saffron, with a layer of white embossed with the swiss dot EF. The designer papers were found in my scrap bin, and I finished it off with some twine and crystal brads.

It's Go Fishing Day!

It's Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug, we choose a holiday and let it inspire us! June 18th is Go Fishing Day, so I made a card using Beach Frog-fishing from Bugaboo stamps.

I coloured this cute little Beach Frog with copics, and added some silver with a gelly roll pen to the fishing rod, and crystal effects to his eyes.

The card base is from Recollections, with fish designer paper I found at a 2nd hand store and the striped paper is from KaiserCraft Animal Party. The fish was made with a Martha Stewart punch, from paper I made with glossy paper and some spray mists that I had in my stash.

I also used the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge DS153.

A Star Is Born!

Hello, my Nephew Jack was in a school production of The Wizard of Oz. Our whole family went to see it, and what a treat it was, it was so well done, hard to believe it was a public school production!

Jack was one of the tough boy Munchkins as well as a flying monkey. I made this treat for him, for a job well done.

I found this awesome Tutorial for Hersey Kisses Star treat holders by Brenda of Qbee`s Quest. She has tutorials for several Hersey Treat Holders, there`s super easy and so clever!

To finish it, I used the Flying Monkey Riley, from Riley and Company and the sentiment is from Stampin Up Picture This set.
