TSMONDAY25, Purrfectly Fabulous QFTD05!

It's Monday, time for another Totally Stampalicious Challenge! This week it's a colour challenge, chocolate chip, creamy caramel and not quite navy!

I also combined this with with the Queen for the Day challenge, Hosted by Anne Ryan. This weeks Queen for the day QFTD05 is our very own Sue aka Coffeestamper! Big Congratulations to you Sue! I cased this card from Sue's fabulous gallery!

I started with a card base of chocolate chip, not quite navy and then creamy caramel. I embossed this layer with my brand new cheetah embossing folder, isn't it cool! I used some Tim Holtz distress ink around the edges.

Ms Glam Kitty was coloured with copics and her dress is dp. I added some sparkle with a chocolate atyou spica on her eyes, and necklace.

There is a prize for one lucky player this week, so make sure you upload your entry to Mr. Linky here , I hope you can play along this week!

Also just a reminder, we'll be having an awesome Blog Hop this Thursday April 22, at 9pm est, to introduce the new line of Bugaboo Stamps at Totally Stampalicious! You're going to love them, they are so darn cute!

Hope to see you then,

TSMONDAY14, Charge it!

Hello, I made this for the TSMONDAY14 sketch challenge on the Totally Stampalicious blog!
I used Glam Kitty again, because I love this set! It's so funny because this isn't the first time Joycelyn and I have used the same colours! I promise I hadn't seen her sample before I started mine! lol
So I used black, pretty in pink and white. I paper pieced her dress using dp from Making Memories Sabrina. The background was made with stamps in the Glam Kitty set.
I coloured Miss Kitty with copics, except her dress. The bag was stamped separately, coloured & cut out. The little swirls in the corner were in my 'already punched/cut' bin. They were originally made with the cuttle bug die vintage.
I added lots of gems for sparkle and black satin ribbon with pink taffeta ribbon.
I hope you can play along, you can find the sketch and Mr. Linky here!
Also the Farmer Hawg and sentiment set are still on sale for a combined price of $19.95, so nows a great time to get them if you haven't already, the sale in on til Sunday Feb. 7!
Thanks for stopping by, don't be afraid to leave a comment and let me know what you think.

Glam Kitty & Putting those Spellbinder pendants to good use!

This is my favorite one so far and it's the first thing I made when my stamps arrived! I love this new sassy Glam Kitty from Totally Stampalicious!

One of the great things about it, you can make her cat colours, or skin colours with a cat costume! So today my Kitty is truely a Kitty, and doesn't she have expensive looking fashion taste!

Glam Kitty is coloured with copics, and I added crystal effects to her eyes, lips, necklace, and shoes. I used the Spellbinders pendant 'In Spades' to create some extra wow! I've added pictures below to show how I stacked them.

First with the large In Spades die, cut one real red piece and one black, well that's what I used...you can use any colours! lol
Stack these and turn the top one 90 degrees. I put dimensionals inbetween them.

Next I cut one white piece with a die from the nesties labels #4. I can't remember which size it was, but if you need to know just leave a comment & I'll let you know. I only have the red piece behind so you can see the white piece. I also cut 2 from the red with one of the small dies from the In Spades set.
and this picture shows how I attach them!

Then take the white piece and attach it on on top with dimensionals. Easy right! Then of course you can bling it up and make it real fancy!

I hope you give it a try! If you're like me, I love having all the latest dodads & gadgets, so it's nice to have multiple uses for them.

Stamps: Glam Kitty
Paper: real red, black, white, DP DCWV all dressed up
Ink: memento tuxedo black
Accessories: copics, nestie labels #4, Spellbinder pendant In Spades, glitter, crystal effects, black sakura pen, black gems, dimensionals

Totally Stampalicious NEW Release!

Well I'm Totally thrilled to be designing for Totally Stampalicious, and wait til you see this fabulous new set Glam Kitty! It will be on sale today Friday Jan 15, and don't forget there's a sale going on right now, how great is that!

I always seem to focus on the main stamp image in a set, so I decided to try using just the smaller pieces. I love how this turned out!

The card base is rich razzleberry, and the white was made with the spellbinders classic frame, sponged with pale plum. The pale plum layer was cut using the scallop rectangle nestie, this layer is popped up.

The purses were stamped onto the white, and then on cottage wall dp. The sentiment also from the Glam Kitty set, was stamped in rich razzleberry and punched with the SU oval, then layered on the scallop oval & popped up.

I finished it off with the old olive taffeta, I love that stuff!

Please visit the other Designers and see all the great things they've come up with! I promise you won't be disappointed.
