SSS406, Bugaboo Bunny!

Happy Easter Everyone! It's time for another Stella Says Sketch
For my card today I used Bugaboo Bunny. I like that he could be used for Easter, new baby or get well etc.
I coloured the image with copics. The card base is pistachio pudding with a layer of dsp from All Abloom pack. I also embossed the strawberry slush piece with the swiss dot embossing folder.
I tried colouring white candy dots with a copic marker, which works, but if you over colour it leaves streaks.

Please join in our challenge and upload your creation to the Catch The bug Blog!

Have a Happy Easter,
Laurie

Bugaboo New Release Spring Duck!

Hello, Tuesday is New Release day at Bugaboo Stamps, and this is Spring Duck is one of the new images this week!

I printed the image onto white and onto yellow gingham paper from Recollections. I coloured the image with copics and paper pieced the body. There's glitter on the butterfly and flower.

Of course right when I was about to take the photo I noticed the tail wasn't totally glued down, so I added some glue with a quickie glue pen which leaked out and then when I tried to fix it, it left a smudge mark! I managed to get most of it off, but not all, so I ended up covering it with the tiny butterfly punched from glitter paper with a Martha Stewart punch.

The card base is marina mist with a layer of white and then a piece of scrap designer paper I had. The sentiment is from Stampin Up, itty bitty banners.

I also used the Saturday Sketch Challenge #354

You can see more samples using this new image on the Catch The Bug Blog.

All New Releases are available at Bugaboo Stamps.

Have a Great Day!

Bugaboo Freebie Flower Critter Bunny!

Hello, it's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps, and this weeks Freebie is this Flower Critter Bunny! I printed the image 3 times and coloured with copics. The first was cut out with a circle die. From the 2nd I cute out the face and flower together but cut a bit along the lines between the head and the outer petals, so I could curl the ends a bit. Then from the 3rd image I only used the center petal which is also curled a bit for a 3D effect.

The card base is so saffron, with a layer of white embossed with the Daisies embossing folder. I also used designer paper from Recollections.

I'm also entering this in this weeks Saturday Sketch #353, which is sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps!

Make sure to stop by the Catch The Bug Blog to see more samples using this image. And of course you can get your Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone! Here's a peek at some of the treats I made for the kids in my family!

Isn''t he the cutest little punched bunny! I came across this card by Mercedes at SCS, and she provided a link to her Blog with a great video tutorial on how to make this Hop inspired bunny! There is also a second tutorial here which includes a bunny body!

The basket was made using creamy caramel. Then I embossed the front & back with the square lattice EF and rubbed the creamy caramel ink pad over it!

The sentiment is from a MFP set called 'Spring Has Sprung'

I made these using the Pentagon Treat Tube tutorial! The bodies are pretty in pink for my Nieces, and soft sky for my Nephew! The scalloped punched edges are scrap dp. The 'Chocolate Bunny' was stamped with versamark onto close to cocoa and embossed with clear embossing powder!

Hope you have a Happy Easter,

Laurie

Happy Easter Part #1

Hello Everyone, I hope you all ha a great Easter. I know I did, we got to spend lots of time with my Family! My Brother and Sister in law had their annual Easter egg hunt on Friday, and we all had dinner together yesterday, Sunday.

These are the Easter Treat Baskets I made for my Girls this year. When I first saw Tammy's Cutest Bunny Ever Tutorial, I made sure to save it, because I knew I had to make these cute bunnies!

Then I came across this bunny treat holder on SCS made by Stampin Fanatic, and I decided to combine a couple features! I used all the punches listed on Tammy's blog, and added the paws and carrots from the other!

All the edges were sponged, did you see the great idea Tammy has for holding her sponges? I think I'm going to go get some of those clips and give it a try!

I can't get overhow cute these

turned out, and I think the girls really liked them!

I have lots more Easter stuff to show you, so make sure to read on.

Have a Great Day!

Laurie

Happy Easter Part #2

I made these little Easter Treat baskets for my Nieces and Nephew. I love the way they turned out, and they were so easy!

I used the Easter Basket Tutorial at SCS in the resources section to make the baskets.

I came across this cute little punch bunny made by Mercedes and just had to give it a try! The carrot was made using 1/2 of a heart, from the SU 3 heart punch, and the top is a Martha Stewart leaf punch. I glued the bunnies feet to the basket, added pop dots to the back of the bunnies body and positioned over the feet.

The sentiment tag was made using oval punches and a stamp from Mark's Finest Papers.

Have a Great Day!

Laurie

Happy Easter Part #3

Here's some pics of the Easter Cards I made for my family. I decided to make it easy and do the same for all three and just switch up the colours!

I used the new Chocolate bunny stamp from SU. I stamped him in versamark onto chocolate chip and embossed with clear powder. The scallop oval punch was used to make the bite marks.

The grass was made with the Martha Stewart grass punch, and I popped it up. The whole image panel is popped up too.

The background was embossed with the bloom dots embossing folder, and the sentiments were computer generated.

I finished them all off with white taffeta ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all had a great Easter!

F4A4, C4C29, White Chocolate Bunny Basket!

Hello, I made this for last weeks Free 4 all challenge F4A4, we were to make a basket of any kind and use the colours barely banana, certainly celery and perfect plum.
I think this also fits the C4C29, to make something spring.

I used the Easter Basket Tutorial on the resources page at SCS. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was actually bigger than I expected!
I stamped the Chocolate Bunny onto very vanilla with versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder. I made 3 bunnies and cut them out.
The flowers were made with the MS hydranga punch and some tiny brads. I know it would look better filled with candy, but if I buy it now, I'll end up eating it!
I popped the middle bunny up on dimensionals.
Stamps: Chocolate Bunny
Paper: barely banana, perfect plum, very vanilla, dp
Ink: versamark
Accessories: clear ep, MS hydranga punch, tiny brads, dimensionals, elastic cord
Have a Great Day!
