Relax, and enjoy your day!

Hello, I made this for the Friday challenge HSC60 on the Hanna Stamps forum. Jeanne is hosting the challenge called 'Hanna sparkles like a diamond' we were to use something diamond shaped!

I used dp for my diamond shape, and I thought the MS edge punch kinda looked liked diamonds.

I coloured Coffee Riley with prismacolour pencils & oms. The cupcake is glittery with stickles, and the coffee mug is covered with crystal effects. The sentiment is computer generated.

Flourishes March Release challenge

Hello, I made this for the challenge on the Flourishes forum. We were to make a card with a sentiment, quote or word as the focal point.

My supply of sentiments & quotes is very limited, but this sentiment from "Thinking of You' worked out well. I love the writing, it looks so elegant.

The card base is black, with a layer of pretty in pink, and a layer of dp from Making Memories Sabrina. I used a punch on the corners. The sentiment was stamped on white with versamark & embossed with black EP. All the ovals were cut with nesties. This piece is popped up.

The ribbon is black satin. I used a corsage pin & threaded on some beads to match. I finished it off with the self stick pearls in the corners.

Now I just hope I don't need it!

So What do you think?

Riley's Dream Vacation!

Hello, I made this for the colour challenge CC209, the colours are rose red, always artichoke and black. I also made this for my Husband. He wanted a card to give to a client that likes going to RV shows, so trailer Riley was perfect!

The card base is black, with a layer of rose red. The next layer is what & I sponged a sky, which you can't see too well, with yellow & blues. The tree line was made with the new EK alpine trail edge punch. I used 2 shades of green sponged the edges & off set them. I tried to make the appearance of hills by sponging over a circle, but most of it's covered by the vehicles.

I coloured the Riley, van & trailer with prismacolour pencils & oms. Both heads are popped up. I also used a gelly roll pen for the silver on the vehicles. The faux roadway was made by tearing a piece of creamy caramel, stamping it with the itty bitty bg's and creamy caramel & close to cocoa, and the edges are sponged.

The metal sentiment is from the $ store. I just backed it with some ovals and added the gingham ribbon.

I hope she likes it!

Treat Purse

Hello, I made this for the Technique lovers challenge TLC211. You can find the instructions here what a cute & easy treat holder!
I made mine with barely banana. I'm not sure where the dp is from, but it seemed to go perfectly! There's not a whole lota stampin on this one. The 'happy hello' on the front is from 'All year cheer I". The flower was made with punches from marvy. The pearl matched perfectly, can you believe I found them at Dollarama! There's quite a few in several sizes in the pkg for $1. The leaf is the sizzix leaf die sold at SU. I can see this one getting lots of use, I love it! The sentiment was punched with circle punches.

The top edges were made with the new EK dotted scallop edge punch. All the edges of the box, flowers & leaves were sponged. The back opens to show a sentiment from the new 'Yummy' set, and another flower made with the marvy punch & a standard hole punch, oops forgot to sponge this flower!!!

The ribbon is yellow & matches the barely banana, although it doesn't look like it in the photo!

Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Easter Eyelets!

Hello, I made this for the Friday challenge HSFC59, hosted by Amanda_Sewell on the Hanna Stamps forum, use an Easter theme and eyelets!

I also used the sketch challenge from last Wednesday http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=423447So I now know that I have a very limited supply of eyelets! I must remember to buy some.

The image, eggshell Riley, was stamped 2 x's onto white & coloured with primacolour pencils & oms, well just Riley, his head is popped up. The egg was stamped on glitter dp, and the bow was stamped on so saffron. Then I cut it out & covered with versamark & iridescent ice EP. The butterfly is from a Martha Stewart punch. It's covered with glue & glitter.

The white strips were made with 2 of the new EK edge punches, zigzag stitch & dotted scallop. I also used the so saffron marker to fill in the stitches.

You're So Busted!

Hello, I made this for the release challenge HSMRC2 on the Hanna Stamps forum, hosted by Joycelyn (Stamps'nCoffee). We were to use glitter, lots & lots of glitter!

I was late putting in last months order due to computer problems, so I just received my Busted Hanna set this week...I had to use it! She was stamped onto white, and coloured with copics. Don't know if you can see the glitter, but it's all over! I used the new EK photo corner punch, they're so tiny! and made faux brads with a dot of glue & glitter.

For the upper background, I stamped the handcuffs in black onto tempting turquoise, covered them with glue from the quicky glue pen & sprinkled on the silver glitter. The bottom background is dp from DCWV all dressed stack. It already had the glittery design.

The sentiment is computer generated, cut with the oval nesties. It also has faux brads & it's popped up. I love these colours with the glitter!
There's still time to play in the challenge, you have til 5 pm EST on Monday to enter!

Charge it Baby!!!

Hello, I made this for the Release challenge on the Hanna Stamps forum, getting glassy. We were to use something that resembled glass. I used crystal effects on the heart sign, Hanna's lips, and bracelets. You can't really see it, but I also covered the store window with acetate cardstock.

I also used the colour challenge CC208, pink, chocolate kiwi's.

The card base is pink passion, stamped with french script & edges sponged.

The 'In Vogue Hanna' image was stamped on white, paper pieced with dp & coloured with copics. I used a long rectangle scallop nestie for the mat & sponged the edges.

The store from image was stamped on white. I used paper piecing, coloured with copics & sakura gelly roll pens. I also added tiny gems for the necklace. The sentiment is from 'Things Hanna would say' the ovals were cut with nesties.

I'm too embarrassed to say how long I worked on this! but it was worth it, I really like it!
