Freebie Friday Time at Bugaboo!

It's Freebie Friday time at Bugaboo Stamps, and this week it's this Cupcake! So make sure you hope on over to Bugaboo Stamps and get your Free!

I tried my hand at making a Diaper Fold Pouch I found on SCS here. My paper was only one sided, so I cut some dp to cover the white flaps. All the cardstock is from Recollections.

For the Cupcake, I coloured it with copics, and printed the image out twice so I could cut out the top of the cupcake and pop it up. I also covered it with stickles and the cherry with crystal effects.

I didn't really have anything on hand to put in my pouch, but you could add any little treat, cookie, or even crayons or something like that!

Make sure to stop by the Catch The Bug Blog to see what the other Designers have created!

RILEY1813, Make It Male!

Hello, it's challenge time at Riley and Company, and our hostess this week is Frances! It was Father's Day this past Sunday in Australia, so she's challenging us to make a card for a Male!

I must confess I had no idea Father's Day was different in other countries. The other night my Daughter went to bed and came out looking real upset. She had looked at her calendar and saw it was Father's Day and thought she had missed it! lol

So for my card today, I went with a card shark/poker theme! This is Poker Riley, I coloured him with copics. The designer paper is from Kaiser Kraft, called Shaken not stirred, perfect for this Riley.

I also used this weeks MOJO Monday Sketch MOJO309.

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY1813.

FMS101, Boo!

Hello, I made this for the Freshly Made Sketch FMS101. I will also be including this in my Halloween cards for the Kards for Kids group.

This was super fast & easy! The card base is black with dp from recollections. The little tags were all in my scrap bin, I just hand cut the points.

The black strip is embossed with the Candy embossing folder, and the ghost was made with a sizzix die and some sparkly white paper!

Have a Great Day,

I Have Some Exciting News!

Hi Everyone, well I have the most exciting news! I was invited to join the Awesome Design Team over at Bugaboo Stamps, and I'm so happy it still feels like a dream!

I love Jodie's images. There is something for everyone in her collection, and they are perfect for my Kards for kids group, where we send cards to Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital.

So today is Freebie Friday over at Bugaboo Stamps, and that means there is a Free digi image for you to try and this week it's Beach Frog, isn't he adorable! Make sure to check out the Catch The Blog Blog to see more inspiration using Beach Frog.

I started with bermuda bay matted with white and the dp is from Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss pad. I coloured Beach Frog with copics and added some crystal effects to his eyes. The 2 pieces of dp across are scraps from my scrap basket. I used a hole punch to cut some dots from the blue and covered them with stickles.

I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC191.

So my new journey begins, and I know it's going to be awesome!

RILEY1713, Vacation Time!

Hello, it's challenge time at Riley and Company, and this week Jovita is challenging us to make a Vacation themed card or project!

For my card today, I used waterslide Riley. My Sister and I are taking the kids to a waterpark this week, so this seemed appropriate!

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is gumball green with a layer of white and then a layer of bashful blue embossed with the D-vine swirl EF.  The spotted dp is from Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss and the little tails are from my scrap bin.  I finished it off with a starfish made with an EK punch.

I also used this weeks MOJO Monday sketch, MOJO307.

RILEY1613, Spots, Dots and Circles!

Hello, it's time for a Riley and Company Challenge! This week Joy is challenging us to use spots, dots, circles, think round!

I made this card for my Step Daughters Birthday. She was leaving for a camping trip shortly after, so I used Tent Riley. I coloured Riley with copics and paper pieced the tent.

The designer paper has spots and I embossed the white piece with the Winter Trees EF which also has circles. The sentiment 'Just Be You' is one of the newly released Funny Bones stamps.

Please join us in our Challenge and upload your card or project to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY1613.
