RILEY1413, It's All About Sophie!

Hello, it's time for a challenge from Riley and Company! This weeks challenge RILEY1413 is from Michele, and she's challenging us to use Sophie. I needed some cards recently for my Kards For Kids group, so I used Dorothy Sophie for the card above.

The card base is bashful blue with a layer of white and then Recollections blue gingham. I made a faux brick road with some so saffron cardstock and a brick embossing folder.
For the second card I needed a Goldilocks themed card so I used  a tip from Joy aka Daiseyfreak, and omitted the spider  on the Miss Muffet Sophie stamp so she looks like Goldilocks eating her porridge!

The card base is lavendar lace with a layer of close to cocoa that I stamped with a teddy bear stamp I had from Hanna Stamps.

Sophie was coloured with copics and layered on a pink oval scallop and a label die, sorry I forget which one! Then I finished it with twine.

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY1413.

Heads up, Riley and Company sneak peeks start on Sunday July 14th!

Hello, it's time for another fun challenge from Riley and Company! This week Cindy is challenging us to include spring flowers.

I used the Red Riding Moose from the Fairytale release. I guess these aren't really spring colours, other than the yellow, but flowers of any colours would be nice to see outside right now!

I coloured the image with copics, The card base is riding hood red. the dp is from My Minds Eye dilly dally. I used so saffron for the band across and embossed it with the lattice EF.

I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC182

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is bashful blue, with a layer of white embossed with the swiss dot EF and the gingham on the bottom is from Recollections.

The sketch is SSSC179.

Hello, it's challenge time at Riley and Company! Frances is our Hostess this week, and she's challenge us to make a Scrapling! If your new these, Frances has a great description here!

For my scrapling, the base piece is 2.25" wide. I used the new Cinderella Sophie, she's so pretty and look at those awesome glass slippers! I coloured Sophie with copics. For her shoes, I covered them with crystal effects then sprinkled on some glittler.

The white layer is shimmery white, but it probably doesn;t show in the picture. The butterflies were made using the MS punch and some glitter paper.

Hello, it's time for another challenge from Riley and Company. This weeks challenge is hosted by Frances, and the challenge is 'Your Favorite Fairy Tale'!

Well I love all the fairy tales, and the Disney movies. When my Daughter Rachel (now 19) was little she loved Robin Hood, so much so that I made her a Robin Hood hat and we bought a bow & arrow at the $ store.

This is the new Riley as Robin Hood, doesn't he make a great hero!

I coloured him with copics. The card base is early espresso, with a layer of dp from Basic Greys Mellow. On the bottom I have a piece of mellow moss. The tree was made with a die-namics die.

The sentiment is from the new Life Is A Fairy Tale word set. Both the image panel and the sentiment are popped up.

Please join us in our challenge, and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog, you could be a winner! If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY1712.

Riley Fairy Tale Blog Hop!

Yeah it's finally here, all the new stamps as well as the word set are available now at Riley and Company!

This is the new Captain Riley Hook, I Love this one, and I'm still excited about this card!

I coloured The Captain with copics, and added some copic atyou spica in silver & gold, you can see it better in this picture.

I drew in the background with a copic 0.3 liner and coloured it in. Now Captain hook reminds me of the crocodile and his tick-tocking so I went with that. I made the crocodile with punches.

and this is the beautiful Snow White Sophie. I cut the frame with the labels 9 spellbinders & it's popped up.

You should have arrived here from Kelly's and now it's time to head on over to Jovita's! And just in case there's any glitches along the way, here's the complete hopping list.

Hello, Today is the first day of the Riley and Company Sneak Peeks for July, and this month it's all about Fairy Tales!

This is the beautiful new Rapunzel Sophie, I coloured the image with copics.

This is a center step card, and I thought it would be perfect to make the faux towers on the sides. I used the Tim Holtz bricked EF to emboss the going grey, and then sponged the edges. This card also features one of the sentiments from the new word set `Life is a Fairy Tale`.
