TSG214, Don't Forget The Rum!

I hope it's ok to enter the There She Goes challenge  more than once, because I had 2 ideas for cards and couldn't decide so I made both...this is the second, here's the first!

The challenge TSG214 is to case a Trendsetter, and I cased Wendy P, this is her card. For mine, I used the barrel from the Shiver Me Timbers set and the sentiment is from the Ship Happens set.

I stamped the barrel 3 times, and coloured with copics. I also added some silver copic atyou spica to the metal bands. Then I cut them out and popped up the one in the front.

The card base is black, with a layer of the new SU smokey slate embossed with the clockworks EF. I sponged the edges with the matching ink and then rubbed on some silver ink from my encore ink pad. For the black strip I distressed the edges a bit and then the creamy caramel piece was scrunched up, and sponged with matching ink, I also ran the pad across the piece to catch the raised bits and give it a bit of a worn leathery look!

TSG214, How Arrr you Doing?

Hello, I made this for this weeks challenge TSG214 over at There She Goes! This weeks challenge is to Case a Trendsetter, and you have to case something made for the recent release!

I cased Wendy P, and you can see her card Here!

I used the Shiver Me Timbers set. I coloured the pirate with copics and added a bit of silver gelly roll pen to his belt buckle and silver copic atyou spica to highlight the blade of his sword. The background was stamped with the little skull & crossbones from the set, but it's hard to see in the photo.

TSG208, Shiver Me Timbers!

Hello, my new stamps arrived in the mail yesterday, so while recovering from surgery I decided to play along with the There She Goes challenge TSG208.

This is one of the images from the Shiver Me Timbers set. I coloured him with copics.

The card base is night of navy, with a layer of dp from Bo Bunny. I also used real red embossed with a woodgrain EF and a scrap of brown I had.

I was hoping the button would look like a coin, I started with a button shaped piece of chipboard. I covered it with versamark and first embossed with bronze and then again with gold EP.

Have a Great Day!
