Riley Fairy Tale Blog Hop!

Yeah it's finally here, all the new stamps as well as the word set are available now at Riley and Company!

This is the new Captain Riley Hook, I Love this one, and I'm still excited about this card!

I coloured The Captain with copics, and added some copic atyou spica in silver & gold, you can see it better in this picture.

I drew in the background with a copic 0.3 liner and coloured it in. Now Captain hook reminds me of the crocodile and his tick-tocking so I went with that. I made the crocodile with punches.

and this is the beautiful Snow White Sophie. I cut the frame with the labels 9 spellbinders & it's popped up.

You should have arrived here from Kelly's and now it's time to head on over to Jovita's! And just in case there's any glitches along the way, here's the complete hopping list.

The bookmark was made with a black base, marina mist on the top, garden green on the bottom and a cityscape of black with white for highlights.

Riley Sneak Peek, Rapunzel Sophie!

Hello, Today is the first day of the Riley and Company Sneak Peeks for July, and this month it's all about Fairy Tales!

This is the beautiful new Rapunzel Sophie, I coloured the image with copics.

This is a center step card, and I thought it would be perfect to make the faux towers on the sides. I used the Tim Holtz bricked EF to emboss the going grey, and then sponged the edges. The vines were made with a Marianne die, and the flowers were made with one of those tiny punches you can get for $1.

This card also features one of the sentiments from the new word set `Life is a Fairy Tale`.

Make sure to pop by the others Designers Blogs to get more peeks! There will be sneak peeks every day leading up to the Riley and Company Release and Blog Hop, Thursday July 26th, 10pm est.

TSMONDAY, Christmas In July!

Hello, Totally Stampalicous is  celebrating Christmas in July this week! I also combined this with the Bugaboo Christmas in July Challenge for Monday, to use an image you may not normally use for a Christmas Card!

I found that challenge a little hard, but ended up using Stella Peeker Another Drink, along with a sentiment from Going To Town Gus!

I also used last weeks sketch challenge SC393.

I coloured the image with copics and added a bit of crystal effects. The image was cut with the nested pennants.

The dp is from Basic Grey's wassail, and the poinsettia was made with the spellbinders poinsettia die.

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog.

Make sure to check out the Catch the Bug Blog to see the whole week of Christmas In July Challenges!

TSMONDAY, Favorite Embellishment!

Hello, this weeks Totally Stampalicious Challenge is to use your favorite embellishments! Well I have several. I think I put ribbon, fibre or twine on almost everything, and then  depending on the image I might add crystal effects, gems, stickles etc.

For my card today, I used Girls Rock. I coloured her with copics and added stickles to her jewelry and eyelids, and crystal effects to her lips.

The sketch is last weeks SC392. The base is black, with a layer of white embossed with a cheetah EF. I love this new dp from Recollections (Michaels) and the circle is melon mambo.

I finished it off with some ribbon and fibre.

Please play along and upload your creation, including your favorite embellishment, to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!
