OBG, Pig - Super Pig!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug, and today I have a card made with Pig-super pig from Bugaboo Stamps.

I coloured the image with copics, and cut him out with circle dies. The card base is midnight muse, with a layer of white that I added punched stars to in real red, daffodil delight and midnight muse. Then I embossed the white piece with the square lattice embossing folder.

I used this weeks Sketch Saturday #375

Make sure to check out the Catch The Bug Blog for more samples of oldies but goodies made by the awesome Bugaboo Team!

Photo Inspiration...In Space!

Hello, I made this for the Saturday Challenge at Catch The Bug, this week it's a photo inspiration challenge!
I used Astronaut-planet from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the image with copics and added crystal effects to his helmet.
The card base is black with a layer of certainly celery embossed with a star embossing folder. I got the designer paper at the $ store, it's called Out of this world from Clever Handmade. I finished it off by adding some popped up stars.

I also used this weeks Mojo Monday sketch MOJO411.

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Catch The Bug Blog, for your chance to win!

FMS200, Hipster-potamus!

Hello, I made this for this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS200. I used the Hipster-Potamus set from Avery Elle...love this one!

I stamped the hippo twice onto textured grey cardstock. I shaded in some ares with copics, and cut the head out of one image and added it on top of the whole image which I also cut out. I stamped the glasses onto the hippo, and also onto a piece of acetate with stazon ink. Then I cut the glasses out and added them with a few dots of quickie glue pen around the edges. The hat was stamped onto a scrap piece of cardstock then added with glue dots.

The card base is black and the bottom is dp from Recollections. The top is white embossed with the cloudy day embossing folder.

Have a Great Day!

ABC, ipod Treat Holder & Tag!

Hello, the Bugaboo Team is back from our 2 weeks holidays, and I do believe my mojo is recharged!
It's Anything but a card day at Catch The Bug, and today I'm showing you the ipod treat holder I made. I had seen something similar on pinterest and decided to make my own pattern.
For my tag I used Johnny-music from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored him with copics and used a corner punch to make the tag.
Here's a side view, the headphones were made with a 1.75" circle punch and 1-3/8" (if I remember right!) I embossed the smaller circle with the swiss dot embossing folder and the black strip connecting them is 3/4" wide.
Here's a close up of the tag, Johnny-music is so cool!
This is the template I made to make the ipod treat box. I started with a piece of pacific cardstock 8.5" x 6".
score at 1/2", 3.5", 4.5" and 7.5 then turn and score at 1 inch. Fold on score lines, and cut along the bottom as shown. I used a Spellbinders Rectangle die for the window, it was the second from largest die in the small set.

Finished the box measured 5 inches tall by 3 inches wide and 1 inch deep. For the front I used circle punches and a white uni-ball pen for the menu and markings.

Have a Great Day!
