It's a great time to stock up, or get some Christmas shopping done, plus we just released 7 new sets perfect for making your Christmas cards & gifts!

So this weeks Totally Stampalicious challenge is to make a Halloween card or project. Can you guess what stamp I used...it's the adorable Sean with Flower! Honestly it didn't take much to alter it, anyone could do it!

I stamped Sean onto copy paper, then traced out a robe to cover his clothing. I cut it out and traced aropund it onto neenah solar crest cardstock with the copic 0.3 liner. I also added some lines to make it look like folds in the draped robe. Then I coloured it in using copic C9, C7 and C5. Then I cut it out.

I masked off the flower Sean was holding with a post it note. Then stamped the image onto cardstock and I also stamped just his head.

To make him look pale, I coloured his face with E40, E41 and E000. His hair was coloured with the same copic C's as his robe. I sponged riding hood red lightly onto his face and drew in the mouth & teeth...I practiced several mouths on a scrap piece of paper before I settled on this one. The teeth were brightened up a bit with a white inkessentials pen. The head is popped up.

Before adhereing the robe, I punched the branch from the 2-step bird punch and trimmed off the leaves. The blade was made with silver cardstock & the wide oval punch. I glued this into position then added the robe.

The card base is black with a layer of riding hood red and then coredinations that has been embossed with the skeleton scroll EF.

I couldn't resist using the MS drippy goo punch and you can see in the photo below I added some crystal effects to some of the drips.

The single drip coming off the blade was made with the MS teardrop punch and I added crystal effects to it too!

The sentiment is also a MS punch....I hope she appreciates how rich I've made her!!!!! lol

Well I think that about explains it, just let me know if you have any questions!

MMTPT169, Teaparty Kong Style!

Hi out there, I made this for this weeks Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT169! Better late than never! This weeks challenge is all about taking the King out of Kong so he can relax and behave at the Teaparty!

Well it may not be the real King Kong, but Riley as King Kong should work just as well, I know he'll behave! I met some of the requirements, bananas, trees and even some monkey friends who wore hats to the party! lol

The papers are from Daisy D's Bambino pad!

The sentiment is from MFP's Floral Tea set.

Have a Great Day!

TSMONDAY, Note Cards!

Hello, Thank You to everyone who stopped by during the Totally Stampalicious Blog Hop, I enjoyed reading all your lovely comments! Congratulations to all the Blog Candy winners...happy stamping!

Well now it's time for our weekly Totally Stampalicious challenge, and this weeks challenge is to make at least 3 note cards! Mine are 3x3 and they will make great tags for gift bags!

These were super simple! First I chose my stamp, the loveable Poppi Penguin, then I chose the colours wisteria wonder, lucky limeade & purely pomegranate!

I stamped Poppi 3 times onto Neenah solar crest cardstock & coloured them with copics. I matted them with the new silver glimmer paper from Stampin Up...awesome sparkle factor! It seemed a shame to cover up all that glimmer paper, so I punch a large circle out of the center of each to use for something else later.

Please join us in our challenge, create 3 note cards and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Have a Great Day!

RCMP Trainee!

Hello, my Daughter's Friend is leaving tomorrow to train with the RCMP! The family had a party for her, and I made this card for Rachel to give to her.

I couldn't find a RCMP/Mountie digi, which I needed last minute, so I decided to make one from punches. She ended up being quite tall, so the card is 6.5" X 5". She is made almost entirely of punches, and some pieces had to be trimmed a little.

She really liked it!

Have a Great Day,

RILEY2111, Orange & Black!

Hi everyone, it's time for another fun challenge from the Riley and Company Design Team! This weeks challenge Hostess is Margie, and she's challenging us to use the colours orange and black!

I used the newly released Bridezilla. She's coloured with copics and I added diamond stickles to her dress!

I didn't have enough black brads, so I made my own. The smaller ones on the right side were made with the smallest hole punch on the cropadile. The larger ones on the left were made with the larger hole punch on the cropadile. I glued them in place and then covered them with crystal effects.

I also used last weeks sketch challenge SC354.

If you want to play along, just leave a comment on the Riley and Company Blog, with a link to your card. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2111.

Recipe
Stamps: Bridezilla, weathered BG

Hi all, it's time for this weeks Totally Stampalicious Challenge! This week it's a colour challenge, we're challenging you to use the colours orange, purple and black!

I pulled out an oldie but goodie for this one! This cauldron stamp is from the Witch Brawd set! I coloured it with copics and added some purple glitter glue from MS.

The sketch is from Freshly made sketches FMS6!

The card base is black with a layer of peach parfait embossed with the skeleton scroll EF. I sponged the edges and used the MS rat/mouse edge punch which I think really suits it! The sentiment is also from the Witch Brawd set.

Please join in and play along! Just upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Stay tuned, we have a fabulous new release coming, you're going to love them!

MMTPT167, Fishing Riley Referee!

Hello, this is my card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT167! This weeks challenge was to make a masculine card, with vertical black & white stripes, or horizontal rainbow stripes, and a fishing theme...I think I got everything! lol

This weeks Destination Station is to Chip in Ohio, he is the husband of fellow teapotter Karen (Redbugdriver). It sounds like Chip has had terrible problems with his foot resulting in his latest surgery (partial amputation), requiring him to be away from home for the next 3-6 weeks at a rehabiliation center. Hopefully this happy mail will make the time fly by!

I used Fishing Riley and coloured him with copics.

I love how this turned out, but I can't take full credit, I was inspired by this awesome card from PickleTree!

Recipe
Stamps: Fishing Riley
Paper: black, white, real red, pumpkin pie, daffodil delight, certainly celery, bashful blue, baja breeze, dp welcome neighbour, recollections
Ink: memento tuxedo black, baja breeze, daffodil delight, pumpkin pie
Accessories: copics, Fiskars wave punch, die-namics sun & rainbow, ProvoCraft fish die, dimensionals, ribbon, button, twine, cupcake punch (cloud)

TSMONDAY, Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving, we had our turkey dinner yesterday at my Mom's and it is so nice here, we actually sat outside! I don't ever remember a Thanksgiving that was this warm!

So the Totally Stampalicious Challenge this week is all about being grateful, so make a Thank You or Thanksgiving card!

Today I used Farmer Hawg, haven't inked him up in a while, and I used a sentiment from the set! I paired him up with the new spice cake dp from SU.

Farmer hawg was coloured with copics, then I cut him out with a square nestie & backed it with a square scallop nestie. I popped this panel up, and finished it off with some taffeta ribbon.

I also used last weeks SCS sketch challenge SC353.

Please join us in our challenge this week, just upoad your card or creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

MMTPT166, Get Well Hydrangea!

Hi All, I made this card for this weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT166! This weeks Destination Station is to Sharon, who has had multiple surgeries on her foot that has been very problematic, and she needs some cheering up!

I also used the MOJO Monday sketch MOJO209!

Since Sharon loves hydrangeas, I decided to try and make one! This stamp is called Fat Mice Flower from Totally Stampalicious. I masked off the flower (which was a daisy) stamped the image, and coloured with copics.

The 3D hydrangea was easy, just fiddly! I punched 3 circles from wisteria wonder, 1-1/8", 3/4" & 1/2". Attach the 3/4" circle to the larger circle with dimensionals, and the the 1/2" circle on top of that with dimensionals. Then I punched 26 of the small flowers with the MS hydrangea punch. I added a drop of liquid pearls to the center, sponged the edges...very fiddly...and then shaped them so the petals curved up. I used liquid tombo glue to apply them, starting at the top and working my way down. It also helped to have my paper piercer handy or anything with a pointy end to help press them into place.

Recipe
Stamps: Fat Mice Flower, Ladybugs & carnation (MFP sentiment)
Paper: concord crush, wisteria wonder, white, certainly celery, dp cheerful treat
Ink: memento tuxedo black, concord crush, wisteria wonder, certainly celery
Accessories: copics, MS hydrangea, liquid pearls, circle punches, ribbon, MS rose leaf punch, butterfly EF, dimensionals

RILEY2011, Let's See Some Leaves!

Hello,I just wanted to say thanks to all those who stop by and take the time to leave comments, I really appreciate them, and Congratulations to all the Riley and Company Blog Hop winners!

It's time for a Riley and Company Challenge! Since it is offically fall, well in some countries, I'm challenging you to add a leaf or leaves to your card or project!

This is the new Riley Pottermoose, perfect for all those Harry Potter fans, I have a couple of those in my house!

I coloured Riley Pottermoose with copics, added crystal effects to his glasses and stickles to the stars and swirls left behind from his wand!

The card base is black, with a layer of more mustard and then a layer of glossy white. For the glossy layer, I used a brayer to add soft sky, blue bayou & not quite navy. I also sponged the darker colour around the edges.

The trees were made with a die-namics die, and I sponged the trunks & leaves. I finished it off with some twine and an owl charm!

Please join us in our challenge and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2011.

TSMONDAY, Emboss It!

Hello, it's Monday and that means a new challenge from Totally Stampalicious! This weeks challenge is to Emboss it, dry emboss or heat emboss...whatever you like!

I love texture, and find it hard not to use some kind of embossing, but tell me I have to use it and for some reason my mind goes blank! lol This is what I finally came up with!

This is the cute new Fairy Ava, I was thinking about ladybugs when I chose the colours, not Santa! lol I coloured Fairy Ava with copics, and added tiny gems to her bracelet & shoe.

The card base is black with a layer of real red, edges embossed and then a layer of Bo Bunny dp also embossed with the Butterfly EF.

I used the Sketch from Freshly Made Sketches FMS4!

Please play along, just make a card or project with some type of embossing and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

FMS4, Clapperboard Riley!

Hello, The winners of the Riley and Company Blog Hop have been drawn, you can check out the winners here!

I've been wanting to play in the new Freshly Made Sketch Challenges, and I finally got a chance, this is for FMS4!

I used the Clapperboard Riley, I thought it would make a great Birthday card, so I left the sign blank so I can add in the age of the Birthday person!

I coloured Riley with copics and sponged around the edge with Tim Holtz antique linen. The tag is popped up, along with the large star.

It didn't seemed balanced, so I added 2 tiny stars on the right hand side.

Recipe
Stamps: Clapperboard Riley
Paper: black, soft suede, crumb cake, white, DP mocha morning
Ink: memento tuxedo black
Accessories: copics, die-namics, star punches, 1/2" circle punch, cropadile, ribbon, dimensionals, MS star punch

Have a Great Day!
