ABC, 2 Litre Bottle Savings Challenge!

Hello, this may be old news to some, but I recently came across a 2 Litre bottle savings challenge. I've seen a couple different totals, but the idea is if you save your dimes in a 2 litre bottle you should end up with somewhere between $500 - $800 when full! Isn't that a great way to save for a vacation!

So I decorated an empty 2 litre bottle (still a bit wet inside)! lol I used the Stella Vacation from Bugaboo Stamps and I cut the sentiment in half and only used the top part! I coloured the image with copics.

The paper band is from DCWV summer stack, and I used it as a guide to picking my colours. Super easy project! This would even be great for the kids to do, pick something they want to save for, choose an image from Bugaboo Stamps that reflects the end goal and decorate away!

The strip down the middle is pacific point embossed with the stars embossing folder. Then I finished it off with a couple sequins and a punched star.

Freebie Friday, Flower Pocket 5!

Hello, it's time for this weeks Freebie Friday from Bugaboo Stamps, and this week it's this beautiful Flower Pocket 5!
The first thing I did for this card was colour the pocket with copics and then I stamped it with a linen background stamp that I sprayed with rubbing alcohol. When that was dry I coloured in the rest. I also printed the image twice so I could cut out the flowers and pop them up.

The card base is lavender lace, with a layer of white embossing on the top with the Branches embossing folder. The designer paper is from recollections. I finished it off with some twine!

OBG, Peaches Car!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug, and today I'm showing you a card I made for my Daughter's Birthday using Peaches Car from Bugaboo Stamps.

I printed the image 3 times on white cardstock and once on designer paper for the car body!
So I used the first print as my base, and coloured in the parts that weren't going to be covered by the paper piecing. Then I added the car body, on top of that I added peaches coloured with copics, and then with the 3rd image, I only cut out her head with ears attached.

For this card I used the Easel Card design. The yellow piece was embossed with the On The Go embossing folder. The green piece with embossed with a Tire Track embossing folder. The word bubble is from a Stampin Up set.

Bugaboo Challenge Anything Goes!

Hello it's challenge time at Catch The Bug, and the first challenge of the month is always Anything Goes! I saw this card which I loved, so I decided to case it using the Bugaboo Cat from Bugaboo Stamps.
This card will be for my Niece, who loves cats, specially her
Siamese who likes to take selfies with her!
So I decided to give it a try and colour the Bugaboo Cat with copics and make him look Siamese...I think it turned out not too bad!
printed out one on the background piece and two more cats to colour. I glued down one whole cat (minus extending whiskers) and then just the head of the second one which I popped up. I used a small scrap of chocolate chip for the shelf, which I embossed with the woodgrain embossing folder and then I sponged the edges with matching ink.
This is my Niece Meghan and her cat Casper when her was little!

Please join in our challenge and upload your creation the the Catch The Bug Blog!
