TSG213, You're The Top Dog!

Hello,  made this for the There She Goes Challenge TSG213, it's a sketch! I finally got to ink up my new Doxie With Moxie set, I love all the possibilities this set provides!

Like most crafters, I'm my own worst critic, and when I sit down to describe my card, I always want to tell you everything that's wrong with it! Like the spacing of the panels is off and the bigger space between the top and bottom pieces is driving me crazy, but it was already stuck...and good...so I have to live with it! And the building in the background is embossed with black embossing powder, but my powder is either old or it's because there was bits of white stuff in it...have no idea how that happened...so it didn't cover as good as it should have!

Now on the other hand, I love this little doxie with the bits of brown. For the body I used copics C9, C7 and C5 for the brown I used E29, E25 and E23.

I sponged the background sky with island indigo. The main image panel was sponged with island indigo and wild wasabi while still in the circle die.

RILEY1313, Stars!

Hello, it's time again for a Riley and Company Challenge, and this Jovita is challenging us to use or include stars on your card or project!

This is Tooth Fairy Riley. I coloured the image with copics, added some glitter and covered the tooth with crystal effects.

The card base is marina mist, with a layer of white, embossed with a star EF and then I rubbed a veramark pad on it and embossed it with irridescent ice EP.

The Smile sentiment is also from Riley and Company!

Please play along in our challenge, and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY1313.

She's Old Enough to Drive!!!!!

It's a huge milestone when your kids are old enough to drive and you realize you're that much older!!! LOL I made this card for my Niece Meghan. I like to personalize the cards for the family and Meghan got her license recently and is now driving my Sister's little red car!

This is a Bugaboo image Girlz - Car Ride, perfect for the new female driver. I also used the Stella Says Sketch Challenge SSS138 and this weeks Bingo challenge (hope that's ok) I used red, white & Blue a Bugaboo image and stars!

For the 3 embellishments I thought it would be fun to use traffic light colours, so I coloured the SU rhinestones with copic marker and then backed them with black circles made with a regular office-hand hole punch.

Happy Father's Day!

Hello and Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! This is the card I made for Father's Day.

I used the Fast Food Burger Fun Die from Your Next Stamp, isn't it cool! This die is great, because you can add what toppings you like.

I also used the Freshly Made Sketch FMS90.

The card base is black, with a layer of white I embossed with the swiss dot EF on one side. The gingham paper is from a small MS pad called Winter Wonderland mat pad. I used scraps for the burger toppings. and the red strip is ruby red.

The sentiment is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes.

RILEY1213, Use Up Those Die Cut Scraps!

Hello, it's time for another challenge from Riley and Company, and this week I'm challenging you to use up those die cut scraps or any scraps you have around. For my card today, I used Graduation Riley.

I also tried a new card design, this is a Diamond Origami Fold Card, I found the tutorial on Splitcoast. It's super easy and you can use one sided designer paper.  The black oval and yellow piece were found in my die cut stash, along with the stars I used on the inside.
This is where I've been keeping my unused die cuts and punched items, but as you can see I am outgrowing this and need a larger container, since I have trouble opening the drawers! lol The top drawer is where I keep my masks of different stamps. I stamp them onto copy paper and cut them out, then use repositionable glue on the back. This way if I use a stamp alot I only have to make the mask once!

So if you want to join in our challenge and use up some of those scraps, please upload creation to the Riley and Company Blog so we can have a look too! If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY1213.
