Fly A Kite!

Hello, this is the card I made with the Kard Kit I was sent by Bela, for our Kards for Kids group! I'm not sure where the image is from, but great for a boy card!

I coloured the image with copics. All the dp was in the kit and I just added some ribbon. Love this ribbon, it's the new one from SU!

Hello, If you read my precious post, you know I was playing with my fellow Kards For Kids team members this weekend, we went on a virtual cruise, while playing in challenges and making cards for the kids!

Above is my card for challenge #5 Paris France, we were to make a card with a Paris flair! Bela provided us with the image, designer paper and flowers!
For Challenge #6, we were shown a beautiful picture of Greece and had to make a card using blue, white and a summer theme! I used Sailboat Riley, and Shoreline dp from American Crafts.
For Challenge #7, we were to create a card with florals, using a photo from Venice, Italy as inspiration. I used Window Riley with some glittery designer paper!
and lastly Challenge #8, the 50's shows. We had the image and papers provided, along with the die cut ice cream float. I added some tiny circle punch outs to the top for bubbles and then covered them with stickles.

Fabulous cruise,
Laurie

Unicorn + Pop-Up Gift Card Holder!

Hello, this is another card I made for my Niece. She loves Unicorns, so this Unicorn from Bugaboo Stamps was  perfect! We also got her a gift card to one of her favorite stores, so I used Kim's Tutorial on SCS to make a Pop-Up gift card holder!

The card base is daffodil delight, with a layer of white embossed with the Love Language EF. The dp is from Heidi Grace-Daisy Dear. I coloured the image with copics, adding gold copic atyou spica to the horn. I also added dazzling diamonds glitter to the mane and tail, and tiny gems to the flowers. The sentiment is from the SU Short &; Sweet set.
Here's a peek at the inside. I used white on the inside and dp for the pop-up part. The sentiment inside is from SU Happiest Birthday Wishes set.

FMS73, I Always Cheer For You!

Hello, I made this card using the FMS73. I also made it for the Kards For Kids groups I belong to that makes cards for the kids at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Kids.

I used a stamp from Your Next Stamp called Lisa Basketball Bear. I coloured the image with copics and added some silver copic atyou spica to the basketball ring.

The card bade is early espresso, with a layer of baja breeze that I stamped with matching ink and the distressed dots BG stamp. The dp is from My Minds Eye Away we go.

The basketball was made using the MFT die-namics and the sentiment is from the matching set called Have a Ball. What a great set for uplifting/positive sentiments, perfect for Kards for Kids.

I sponged the white pieces with Tim Holtz antique linen.

RILEY0313, Show Some Love Without Red or Pink!

Hello, it's time for another Challenge from Riley and Company! This weeks challenge is hosted by Kelly, and she's challenging us to show some love, make a Valentine or love card using non-traditional colours, not red or pink!

For my card today, I used Stamping Riley and coloured him with copics. I added a tiny glittery heart to the card he made.

The card base is crumb cake, stamped with the French Script BG stamp, and all edges are sponged with crumb cake.

The tag was made using the Shapeabilities Tag Shape 3 die and white card stock. I embossed it with the woodgrain EF, and then ran the crumb cake ink pad over it.

The hearts were made with a Martha Stewart punch and champagne glimmer paper.

Sad But True!

Hello, well you may have heard the news that Becky and Joycelyn from Totally Stampalicious have decided to close up shop. This certainly can't have been an easy decision, and I sure will miss designing for them.

All stamps are on sale now for $4.00!

You can find all the details about the closing process on the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

I used Johnny Skateboard on my card today, which I will be sending to the Kards For Kids, as we are currently collecting cards for boys!

I coloured Johnny with copics, and paper pieced his shirt & skateboard. The paper on the top and skateboard was in my scrap basket. The polka dots on the bottom are from Recollections.

The card base is black, with a layer of daffodil delight.

I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC177.

Have a Great Day!~
