You da Bomb!

Hello, I have another Valentine to share today! This one was made using the Your Next Stamp 'Boom!' set and co-ordinating die. I also made this for the Your Next Stamp Sketch Challenge #6.

I coloured the image with copics and added some copics atyou spica to the flame part, then cut it out with the die.

The card base is black, with a layer of Recollections chevron paper and real red strips embossed with the Love Language embossing folder.

YNSFFC17, Believe!

Hello, I made this for this months sketch challenge YNSFFC17 at Your Next Stamp! I used the stamp set Believe In The Magic, and turned the sketch sideways.

The image was coloured with copics, with stickles on his nose and gold copic atyou spica on the bells, and crystal effects on his eyes.

The card base is cherry cobbler, with a layer of crumb cake stamped with the Hardwood background stamps from SU. The designer paper is also from SU's Season Of Style.

YNSFFC15, Fang-tastic!

Hello, this is another card I made for the Your Next Stamp Challenge YNSFFC15. For this card I used the Fang-tastic set from Your Next Stamp.

I stamped him twice, coloured him with copics and cut the nose out of one and popped it up! The card base is black with designer paper from K&&Co and the drippy goo is glitter paper.

The sentiment is included in the Fang-tastic set and I topped it off with a bat made with a Martha Stewart punch.

YNSFFC15, Down On The Farm!

Hello, I made this for this month's sketch challenge at Your Next Stamp.
And also for the Kards For Kids colour challenge, we're making farm themed cards this month.
I used The Funny Farm Crew set for my card today, and the Funny Farm Animal Sentiments set. 

I stamped the cow twice and coloured with copics. I cut out the nose and popped it up. 
All the papers are from Recollections, and the little chick was made with a Martha Stewart edge punch.

SSSC220, Monster-ous Birthday Wishes!

Hello, I have another adorable Monster card to share with you! I made this using this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC220.

I used the Silly Monsters set from Your Next Stamp. I love this with the bright colours. I coloured the monster with copics and added crystal effects to his eyes, it`s not dry yet, so his eyes look a little cloudy. The designer paper and green is from Recollections. I also embossed the green piece with the SU decorative dots EF.

YNSFFC12, Monster Eyes!

Hello, I made this for my Kards For Kids group and for the sketch Challenge at Your Next Stamp, YNSFFC12.

This little guy is from a YNS set called Silly Monsters. First I stamped him onto white, and then onto blue designer paper. I cut the monster out of the designer paper and used an exacto knife to cut out his teeth. The spots were coloured right on the designer paper, and the eyes are covered with crystal effects.

The card base is marina mist, with a layer of natural ivory that I stamped with a stamp from the SU gorgeous grunge set in certainly celery. All the designer paper strips were scraps!

SC489, Monster Hugs!

Hello, this is a card I made using this weeks sketch at Splitcoaststampers, SC489. I used a set from Your Next Stamp called Silly Monsters.

I stamped the monster twice and cut one out. The card base is gumball green, with a piece of designer paper from Bo Bunny-surprize pad.

Oops I Forgot A Stop!

I totally forgot to include stop #8 on our Kards for Kids Virtual Euro Tour, we stopped in Austria!

Our tour was sponsored by Your Next Stamp, and this is Ellie Loves Butterflies. One of the inspiration photos for this stop was from The Sound Of Music, so I used the green designer paper to look like the big grassy field you see Julie Andrews in.

 This is my last 3 cards for the Kards For Kids Virtual Euro Tour, and boy what a trip it's been! Your Next Stamp is sponsoring our challenge tour with their awesome images!

For the card above, stop #9 we stopped in Germany. This is Ellie Loves To Read. I coloured her with copics, and added some stickles to the little bee.

Kards For Kids Virtual Euro Tour #4 to #7!

 Hello, the Kards For Kids Euro Tour has taken us to some really exciting places! These are my cards for Challenges #4 to #7. All these adorable images are from Your Next Stamp who are generously sponsoring our Virtual Tour!

Stop #4 is Scotland, and this is Ainsley from Scotland. She's coloured with copics, and I think my hair colouring is improving!
 Stop #5 is Paris...ooh-la-la! This is Pierre from France.
 Stop #6 is a Tuscany Beach in Italy, and this is Picnic Ellie. I love the colours of the designer paper for this one!
And Stop #7 is Switzerland, looks like fun but I think I prefer the Beach! lol This is Ellie Loves To Ski! I should mention I also used last weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS104, but I was too late to enter it!

Kards For Kids Virtual Euro Tain Tour #3. Ireland & extras!

 Hi all, just wanted to share some cards I made for our Kards For Kids virtual Euro Train Tour! The first is for Challenge #3 Ireland. Your Next Stamp is sponsoring our tour, and this is Erin From Ireland!
Love her and what fun to colour! The designer paper was included in the package, so I pulled those colours to create the card.

I also used this weeks Crazy for Challenges sketch C4C204.
 This is my card for #7 of the questionaire. I would love to visit Paris one day, who wouldn't! For this card I used Moostash Riley, from Riley and Company.
And this is for Challenge #8 of the questionaire, to make a bookmark using this sentiment and a travel theme. This is Zip Line Riley, he's on vacation and decided to try something daring, brave little guy!

Kards For Kids Virtual European Tour!

 Hello, The Smiley Team at Kards For Kids are on a virtual European Tour right now, put together by our Wonderful leader Bela. These are my cards for Challenges 1 and 2.

Your Next Stamp is sponsoring out fun Tour Challenges. All the images we will be using are from Your Next Stamp, so I big Thank You to Karen for letting us work with her awesome stamps!

#1. we are in Portugal, and this is Fhiona Riding Her Bike. I coloured her with copics, and added silver copic atyou spica to the spokes and handle bars of her bike. I punched our some grass, and embossed the top with clouds!
#2. Now we're boarding a ferry. This is Shopper Fhiona. I coloured her with copics. The embossed piece was made with a new Darice embossing folder it came in a pack of 3 called Lace.

YNSFFC02, Just-BEE-Cause!

Hello, Your Next Stamp has there challenge YNSFFC02 up for July, there's a sketch and photo inspiration, my card today uses the sketch!

I just got some new stamps in last week, so I had to ink one up...this Bee is from the Smiley Happy Critter Crew set Three! I love these stamps, they are perfect to make cards for the Kards For Kids Group I belong to...and Your Next Stamp is a Sponser of our little group!

Ok so for my card today, I coloured the Bee with copics and added crystal effects to his eyes and glitter to his wings!

The card base is black, with a layer of white embossed with a Honeycomb EF and then I sponged the edges with daffodil delight.

The center strip is a scrap of dp I had and I used the die-namics fishtale dies to cut it. To finish is, I stamped the sentiment separately, punched it out, sponged the edges and popped it up!

Another Critter for YYNSFFC01!

Here's another card I made using the Your Next Stamp Fun Friday challenge YNSFFC01! I loved the cat card so decided to try the dog too!

For this card, I used Smiley Happy Critters Two and the sentiment is from the Smiley Happy Critters set. I coloured the image with copics and added some crystal effects to his eyes.

The card base is black, with a layer of Creative Imaginations designer paper. The center panel is designer paper from the $ store. The bone is a die-namics pet charm.

I just got the new Funny Farm Crew, I love these funny critters, can't wait to ink them up!

YNSFFC01, Smiling Kitty!

Hello, I made this for the challenge YNSFFC01, over at Your Next Stamp! What a fun sketch. I used the cat from the Smiley Happy Critters Two set and the sentiment is from the Smiley Happy Critters set.

The card base is baja breeze with a layer of so saffron that I embossed with a Paw Prints EF, and then sponged the edges.

I found this designer paper a long time ago at a local 2nd hand store...I knew I'd need it some day! lol

I coloured the kitty with copics, and made him an orange tabby just like our senior cat Oliver! The pet charm is a die-namics from My Favorite Things.

Happy Father's Day!

Hello and Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! This is the card I made for Father's Day.

 I used the Fast Food Burger Fun Die from Your Next Stamp, isn't it cool! This die is great, because you can add what toppings you like.

I also used the Freshly Made Sketch FMS90.

The card base is black, with a layer of white I embossed with the swiss dot EF on one side. The gingham paper is from a small MS pad called Winter Wonderland mat pad. I used scraps for the burger toppings. and the red strip is ruby red.

The sentiment is from SU Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Tea Time Fhiona!

Hello, I got some new rubber and made this card for 2 different challenges.

This is Fhiona Tea Time from Your Next Stamp. The first challenge is the Your Next Stamp April Tasty Tuesday Challenge.

And I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC181.

I coloured the image with copics, and added some crystal stickles.

The card base is crumb cake, with dp from Recollections. I used SU framelits for the fishtail and the sizzlits button die and finished it with some linen twine.

Kards for Kids Virtual Cruise Challenges 1-4!

 Hello, The Team Members of Kards For Kids had a fun virtual cruise yesterday, with challenges and prizes from our Awesome leader Bela! Here are my cards for the first 4 challenges!

Above is is the card for challenge #1 Bon Voyage, Bela sent us the image, die cuts and some dp to create with!
 Challenge #2 Included the Chef image from Kenny K and the cake die cut. We also had a buffet table photo for inspiration!
 Challenge #3 was Sunbathing on Deck which included the stamped image from YNS, designer paper and the die cut lawn chair. I got to practice with copic hair colouring, not too bad for my first time with such a large area!
and Challenge #4, was a photo inspiration challenge with flamenco girls and the colours black, pink, green and red. I love this one, great Teen card!

I Have #5 & 6 done, and still have to work on #7 & 8 so I'll be posting them later!

FMS73, I Always Cheer For You!

Hello, I made this card using the FMS73. I also made it for the Kards For Kids groups I belong to that makes cards for the kids at Toronto's Hospital for Sick Kids.

I used a stamp from Your Next Stamp called Lisa Basketball Bear. I coloured the image with copics and added some silver copic atyou spica to the basketball ring.

The card bade is early espresso, with a layer of baja breeze that I stamped with matching ink and the distressed dots BG stamp. The dp is from My Minds Eye Away we go.

The basketball was made using the MFT die-namics and the sentiment is from the matching set called Have a Ball. What a great set for uplifting/positive sentiments, perfect for Kards for Kids.

I sponged the white pieces with Tim Holtz antique linen.
