OBG, Heart Cats!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day on the Catch The Bug Blog, and today I've used Heart Cats from Bugaboo Stamps! This is a great image to use if you've always wanted to colour a striped cat but were afraid to try! I started with E49 and coloured over the stripes that are already on the image and then continued to decrease with E47, E44 etc just adding a bit of each on the outside of the previous colour until I got to E42 and then I coloured in the center used it to help blend the previous colours.

The card base is riding hood red, the designer paper and pink are from Recollections.

I also used this weeks Sketch Saturday #409

SSS408, AKV Baby Teddy!

Hello, it's time for a new Stella Says Sketch Challenge at Catch The Bug
I decided to make a baby card, it's always nice to have them on hand, using AKV Baby Teddy from Bugaboo Stamps.

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is so saffron, with a layer of white that I embossed with the love language EF above the twine, and a stripes EF on the bottom. The designer paper is from DCWV Girl Stack and it had the words on it!

OBG, Sock Monkey!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug, and today I'm using My Little Sock Monkey-flowers from Bugaboo Stamps!

I coloured the image with copics, and then used one of my favorite techniques to add texture to him. All I did was lightly spray my Linen background stamp with alcohol and then stamped onto the coloured image. Then I coloured the flowers and added some red stickles.

The card base is crumb cake with a layer of Recollection designer paper. The sentiment is from SU Teen Tiny Wishes.

I also used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS231
