RILEY0311, Chocolate Valentine!

If you're looking for the MFP post, you can find it here!

Hello, it's time for a Riley and Company Challenge! This weeks challenge is hosted by Therese and she's challenging us to make a chocolate themed Valentine! I made a heart shaped Valentine treat holder! You can find the tutorial for this on Valitia's Blog, it's so easy, and will hold some yummy treats!

I stamped Heart Riley onto white & coloured him with copics. I also stamped the heart and his hands again, cut it out & popped it up.

For the heart box, I cut 2 large scallop hearts from riding hood red and and 2 large hearts from very vanilla. Then I stamped them with the french script background stamp in Tim Holtz antique linen and sponged the edges with the same. As a final touch, I spritzed the vanilla pieces with gold smooch spritz, I'm not sure if you can see it in the photo!
Here's a side view, I thought I had some gold tissue paper, but couldn't find it so I used red and spritzed it with the gold too!

Please play along with us, and upload your creation to the Riley and Company Blog! If you upload to any forums please use the keyword RILEY0311!

I also want to share the card I made for today's Teapot Tuesday Challenge! Yep you heard that right, I have a Teapot card made the actually day of the challenge!!!!

This was made for MMTPT132, This Can't Be Right! There's Nuttin' In Sight!

I used Plane Riley and stamped him on white and coloured him with copics. I also stamped him on scraps of dp for the airplane!

Then I stamped plane Riley onto the background piece and sponged in the clouds using a mask and soft sky ink. I glued down the cut out plane and banner, popping up the end of the banner and the 2 small clouds.

The card base is black, with a layer of riding hood red and then the main panel. At the bottom I used the MS cityscape punch with basic grey and sponged the edges, then I popped that up.

This weeks Destination Station is Sean, he's 23 and battling cancer, please follow the link for all the info. I wanted to personalize it a bit, so the banner sentiment was hand written!

Have a Great Day!
Laurie
