MMTPT156, Miss Gingey!
Hello, well I was so busy getting ready for the 2 releases last week, I'm very late to the teaparty! I guess it's cold tea and no cookies for me this week! lol
This weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge MMTPT156 is going to a fellow Teapotter, and it's a surprise who it will be, what fun!
Since it was July when the challenge was first posted we are going with a Christmas in July gingerbread theme!
I used a Gingey image from Bugaboo Stamps, and for the layout I cased myself and copied a card I made last week!
The cardstock is cajun craze, with certainly celery and vanilla. The dp is from a Daisy D's pad.
I coloured the image with copics and added glitter to the big candy and you can;t really see it, but I also added crystal effects to the icing on Gingey!
I finished it off with some copper cording and a mini Christmas ornament!
recipe
Stamps: Bugaboo Ginger
Paper: cajun craze, certainly celery, white, very vanilla, Daisy D's
Ink: cajun craze
Accessories: copics, crystal effects, dazzling diamonds, die-namics, copper cord, mini ornament, dimensionals

Riley Sneak Peek Day#5, I See Swamp People! LOL
Okay, I have to tell you, when I first saw this new Hunting Riley from Riley and Company, I thought what the heck am I going to do with him! And why would Riley hunt on vacation!!!
Which was also my reaction when I first saw commercials for the TV show Swamp People...who the heck would watch that!!! well guess what I do! lol It's actually quite interesting, the hunters have 30 days to hunt alligators, and they catch alot! So if you watch the show, that was my inspiration, look out Troy...Riley's in town!
I coloured Hunting Riley with copics & cut him out. Then I created the scene.
The top background piece is dp from Bo Bunny zoology.
The waves were made with a Fiskars edge punch. I sponged them with the matching blue colours & then with soft suede because swamp water isn't really very blue! lol
The alligator was made with punches, a tag punch for his head, and circles from the owl punch for his eyes & nose. I had cut the mouth and sharp teeth. I wanted him to look a little more authentic so I embossed him with the tiny mosaic EF and then rubbed some versamark on him and heat embossed with clear EP.
I checked out the Swamp People website and they have a T-shirt for sale that says 'Got Gator?' so I used that as a sentiment!
Sounds crazy, but this ended up being one of my favorite cards! lol
Check out the other Designers Blogs too, there will be lots of sneak peeks, leading up to the Riley & Company Blog Hop and Release on Thursday July 28th, 10 pm est! We also have a Guest Designer this month, Stephanie Hill, so make sure to stop by her blog too!

Olivia's Christmas in July Cards!
Hello, my Daughter Olivia (11) really wanted to play in the Bugaboo Christmas in July challenges this week. She made these all on her own, ony asking for help to make the measuring glass shiney on the snow challenge card! So here are her entries!
Above is Christmass JJ, available in stamp form at Totally Stampalicious. I love the totally non-traditional colours she chose. She even added crystal effects to her glass & glasses!
This is for Tuesdays challenge using the Free Ruby digi! Another great card, I think I need to get her some lighter skin coloured markers!
This is for Wednesdays sketch challenge. The image was from the December monthly package, but it is similar to Winter Birds-Friends!
This is Olivia's card for the snow challenge. I think this is so cute, and love the coloured snow flakes. She asked me how to make the glass shiney, so we used a versamark marker to colour in the glass & embossed it with clear powder. This image was also from the Dec. package but is similar to the Christmas Gingers!
This is for Fridays challenge, anything goes! Again this is from the December package, but there are lots of cute snowmen available!
Any comments would be greatly appreciated by Olivia!
Have a Great Day,
Laurie

Christmas In July Snow Challenge!
Hello, thisis the card I made for the Bugaboo Christmas In July Celebration on the Catch the Bug Blog! Todays challenge was to include snow on your card or project!
I used the Winter Birds Snowman digi image, I love these birds, they're so cute! I decided to create a snowy scene and try making a Pop-Up Stage card!
I printed the image onto neenah solar crest white and coloured with copics and added some glitter.
The snowballs are just circles and I cut the bottoms to make a flat edge. I added glue around the edges & dipped them into glitter.
The tree is a die-namic from My Favorite Things...love this tree...added a bit of glitter to it too! You can never have too much right!
The card base is baja breeze, and the dp in the background is from MS winter wonderland.
You can still take part in the Bugaboo Christmas In July Blog Hop Here!
I've been super busy working on 2 Releases next week!
Riley and Company Sneak Peeks start Saturday July 23, Blog Hop and Release Thursday July 28th 10pm est.

Christmas In July Sketch Challenge!
Hello, I made this card for the Bugaboo Christmas In July Sketch challenge on the Catch the Bug Blog!
Today I used JJ Ornament Happy Holidays! I thought about leaving her naked, lol but decided to put a red dress on her! JJ is coloured with copics, there is crystal effects on her lips, glasses & candy cane. I also covered the top of the ornament with a gold copic atyou spica.
This panel is popped up.
The card base is poppy parade, with dp from Basic Greys Jovial. The flowers were made using the retired 3 flower punch from SU. You can see above, the tools I used to make my flowers. I punched 2 poppy parade flower for each poinsettia.
Then with the flower on the mat, just use the ball of the scoring tool on the backside of the flower to brake down the fibres and added the erfect curve!
I punched one flower from old olive, sponged the edges and cut it up to create the leaves of the poinsettias. The centers are gold brads, and I finished it off by adding a couple tiny drops of crystal effects to the petals...not sure I like that but it's done now! lol
Have a Great Day!

Christmas in July Tuesday Challenge!
Hello, if you haven't heard, Bugaboo Stamps is having a week long Blog Hop and challenges all week to celebrate Christmas in July!
Todays challenge was to use this FREE Ruby digi to create a Christmas card.
At Christmas the local mall always has funky decorated Christmas Trees to raffle off, and I was inspired by a white tree with soft pastel decorations you often see in the mix!
I coloured Ruby with copics in soft colours, and then added glitter to the tree.
The card base is pink pirouette, with a layer of white embossed with the swiss dot EF. The dp is from a K&Co. swell noel pad and I added a border made with a MS punch.
The sentiment is from the Christmas JJ set available at Totally Stampalicious.
The main image is popped up, and I finished it off with fibre and the sentiment tag!
Have a Great Day!

MMTPT155, Just Chillin'!
Hello, I made this for this weeks Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT155! This week we are to bring happy colours, critters, think comical, fun, and cheerful!
I'm using Poppi Penguin, this is a sneak peek because he will be available in stamp form at Totally Stampalicious on July 28th! When I read the challenge and we were asked to include a funny joke, I always thought a penguin joke my Hubby told our Daughter years ago was funny.
The Destination Station this week is to a brave young 13yr old who is about to have his 17th surgery. He loves jokes so we're hoping to tickle his funny bone!
I stamped Poppi Penguin twice and coloured him with copics. I added crystal effects to his glass and popsicle. I chose the picture so you could see the shine!
The card base is black with dp from Amanda Blu. I made the dotted panel using the SU dot, dot, dot stamp.
Here's what it says inside:
A man drives to a gas station and has his tank filled up. While doing this
the clerk spots two penguins sitting on the back seat of the car. He asks
the driver, "What's up with the penguins in the back seat?"
The man in the car says, "I found them. I asked myself what to do with
them but, I haven't a clue."
The clerk ponders a bit then says, "You should take them to the zoo."
"Yeah, that's a good idea," says the man in the car and drives away.
The next day the man with the car is back at the same gas station. The
clerk sees the penguins are still in the back seat of the car.
"Hey, they're still here! I thought you were going to take them to the zoo!"
"Oh, I did," says the driver, "and we had a great time. Today I'm taking
them to the movies."
LOL, well I think it's funny, I hope Jake does too!
Have a Great Day!

I coloured Stella with copics, and added crystal effects to her glasses & dazzling diamonds glitter to the falling snow.
The card base is rich razzleberry with a layer of vanilla and then the dp from crae paper.
Stella is cut with an oval nestie and backed with the lacey oval and popped up.
The snowflakes are pink pirouette, made with the sizzix northen frost die.

MMTPT154, Daisies & Bees!
I used last weeks MOJO198 sketch for my card today.
This is Deacon Bugs, he is a Bugaboo image available in stamp form from Totally Stampalicious. I coloured him with copics and added some crystal effects to the ladybugs & bee, some glitter to the bees wings & tiny gems to the flower centers.
The card base is riding hood red, with a layer of white and a layer of daffodil delight dp. On the white side I stamped it with a stamp from the SU Polkadots & Petals set in black to look like the teapot.
The faux stitching was made with the zigzag sew easy tool and a 0.3 black copic liner.
The strips are just scrap dp I had and the butterfly was made with the sizzix die & daffodil delight. I sponged the edges lightly with riding hood red and added a couple red gems in the center.

I hope Nathan is out on the links again soon!
Have a Great Day!

TSMONDAY, Stars & Stripes!
Happy 4th of July to all our American friends! In honor of todays holiday, this weeks Totally Stampalicious Challenge is to include stars & Stripes!
For my card today, I used the adorable Bently! Hard to resist this cutie and he's wearing stripes!
The card base is night of navy with a layer vanilla, embossed with stars. Then I added some dp that has some strips.
Bently was coloured with copics 2 times. I cut one out and popped it up. I also added a tiny heart gem to the ball & chain and finished it off with some ribbon!
Please join us in our challenge, just make something with stars & stripes and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog! All Guest Designers are chosen from those who participate in the challenges!
I am also entering this in this weeks Bugaboo Catch the Bug Challenge - Anything Goes!
And the PCP challenge - wet or dry embossing
and the CDAC Challenge - wet or dry embossing!
Special Note, the Totally Stampalicious Design Team will be joining the Bugaboo Design Team for a Christmas in July Blog Hop on July 16th!
Have a Great Day!
