Photo Inspiration Challenge!

This week it's a Photo Inspiration Challenge at Catch The Bug

That's Stella and Gus when they were young and in love, and my card is them now! 

I used the Stella ands Gus Socks and Sandals, from Bugaboo Stamps.

I coloured the image with copics and added tiny gems to Stella's flip flops.

The card base is crumb cake, with a layer of blue embossed with the d'vine swirl embossing folder. I finished it off with some twine and the sun was made from a flower with the boho blossom flower punch.

OBG, Kidz-Graduate Girl!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie Day at Catch The Bug. Today I used Kidz-Graduate Girl from Bugaboo Stamps. I think she's so cute. I made this for my Daughter's girlfriend, who just graduated from University. The school's colours are red and gray so I went with those colours.

I coloured the image with copics and added a bit of sparkle with copic atyou spicas in red and gold. The card base is white, with a layer of basic gray and the red piece is from Recollections. The star is gold glimmer paper and I embossed the sentiment, from SU, with white embossing powder.

HMW, It's Eat Your Veggies Day!

Hello, it's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch The Bug, and I made a card for Eat Your Veggies Day, which is today!

I know it seems weird to showcase a juicy burger on Eat Your Veggies Day, but this is actually a portabella mushroom burger topper with veggies and as a side he's having a tossed salad...or maybe grilled veggies! lol

This is AKV BBQ-Hamburger from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured him with copics. This whole card started with the small piece of scrap designer paper, I added some grass, twine and a sentiment and there you have it!

SSS310, Happy Graduation!

Hello, it's time for this month's Stella Says Sketch over at Catch The Bug...

I used this month's sketch to make a Graduation card for my Niece who will be graduating from Grade 8 this month. I used Ava Grad Diploma from Bugaboo Stamps. 

I also used an oval instead of the circle to better fit the image and I wanted the leopard of the designer paper to show.

I know this seems like odd papers for a grad card, but when I checked out the schools website to see what their colours were, I found they were blue and that their mascot was a leopard, so this seemed like a good idea!

I coloured the image with copics. The card base is black, with a layer of blue embossed with a leopard embossing folder and designer paper from Bo Bunny zoology. For the embellishments, I used 3 sequins each topped with a rhinestone.
