So this weeks
Totally Stampalicious challenge is to make a Halloween card or project. Can you guess what stamp I used...it's the adorable
Sean with Flower! Honestly it didn't take much to alter it, anyone could do it!
I stamped Sean onto copy paper, then traced out a robe to cover his clothing. I cut it out and traced aropund it onto neenah solar crest cardstock with the copic 0.3 liner. I also added some lines to make it look like folds in the draped robe. Then I coloured it in using copic C9, C7 and C5. Then I cut it out.
I masked off the flower Sean was holding with a post it note. Then stamped the image onto cardstock and I also stamped just his head.
To make him look pale, I coloured his face with E40, E41 and E000. His hair was coloured with the same copic C's as his robe. I sponged riding hood red lightly onto his face and drew in the mouth & teeth...I practiced several mouths on a scrap piece of paper before I settled on this one. The teeth were brightened up a bit with a white inkessentials pen. The head is popped up.
Before adhereing the robe, I punched the branch from the 2-step bird punch and trimmed off the leaves. The blade was made with silver cardstock & the wide oval punch. I glued this into position then added the robe.
The card base is black with a layer of riding hood red and then coredinations that has been embossed with the skeleton scroll EF.
I couldn't resist using the MS drippy goo punch and you can see in the photo below I added some crystal effects to some of the drips.
The single drip coming off the blade was made with the MS teardrop punch and I added crystal effects to it too!
The sentiment is also a MS punch....I hope she appreciates how rich I've made her!!!!! lol
Well I think that about explains it, just let me know if you have any questions!
Happy Halloween,
Laurie
