Bugaboo New Release Halloween Pumpkin Tree Silhouette!

Hello, it's new release day at Bugaboo Stamps, and this is one of the new images! This is Halloween Pumpkin Tree Silhouette, perfect for those last minute halloween projects!

I printed the image onto an orange cardstock by Recollections. The card base is black, with a layer of purple that's embossed with the Crackle embossinf folder and a scrap piece of designer paper at the top that I believe is from K&Co.

I finished it off with some yarn from Red Heart called Foxy and a cat popped up made with a Martha Stewart punch.

You can find more sample using this new image on the Catch The Bug Blog.

All Halloween and Fall themed stamps are 25% off at Bugaboo Stamps til Oct. 31st.

Birthday Flowers!

Hello, I made this card for my Daughter to give to her best friends Grandma for her birthday. I cased this card on pinterest.

I used the same colours, but I don't have the stamp set she used, so I used Field Flowers from Stampin Up. The card base is rich razzleberry, and the second layer on the front was embossed with a Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder. I sponged the edges in matching ink.

The ribbon and dsp are old olive. I popped up the images and added some pearls.

OBG Moon Baby - Night Night!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie day at Catch The Bug, and today I have a card I made for our Nephew and his Wife to welcome their new baby Isabella.

I used the Moon Baby-night night from Bugaboo Stamps to make this shaker card. I coloured the image with copics. I made the frame by cutting a rectangle and then used a square nestie to make the window opening, and filled it with some sequins of different shapes.

The card base is coastal cabana with a layer of white and a layer of designer paper. I finished it off with a glimmer heart and the cute sentiment that was in a set I had from Totally Stampalicious.

Bingo Time, Rottweiler Trio Block!

Hello, it's challenge time at Catch The Bug, and this weeks Saturday Challenge is Bingo!
For my card today I used Rottweiler Trio Blocks from Bugaboo Stamps. If you like Rottweilers or know someone who does, you can find several images here
I coloured the images with copics and cut them out and matted on black.
The card base is black with a layer of white and a layer or ruby red stamped with the wood background stamp in matching ink.
The edges are distressed and I finished it with linen thread.
I used the diagonal squares on the Bingo card, Bugaboo Image, 3 layers and Border. I know the border may be a bit of a stretch...there's borders everywhere, but not a border punch!

Please play along in our challenge and upload your creation to the Catch The Bug Blog.

Remember all Halloween and Fall images are 25% off at Bugaboo Stamps til October 31st.

HMW, Mad Hatter Day!

Hello, it's Humor me Wednesday at Catch The Bug. It's a day when we make cards or projects for the lesser known holidays. Well October 6th is Mad Hatter Day, my project today features a hat. Not just any hat, this is Magical Tidbit-hat from Bugaboo Stamps. I used it to make a corner bookmark for my Daughter Olivia. She loves reading and is a fan of Harry Potter, and according to an online quiz, she would be in Slytherin if she went to Hogwarts, so I used the Slytherin colours green and gray.

I coloured the image with copics. The edges were sponged with going gray. The base is garden green, with a piece of white embossed with the argyl embossing folder that I inked up with garden geen.

All Halloween and Fall images are now 25% off at Bugaboo Stamps til Oct. 31st.

SSS315, Chibi Snowman!

I just now realized I didn't add the little rhinestones I had planned to put on my card, I'll have to add them later I guess!
For my card today I used the new Chibi Snowman from Bugaboo Stamps. The card base is white embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder. The designer paper was from a Martha Stewart pad.
I coloured the image with copics and added some Wink of Stella. The sentiment is from a SU set and I can't remember which one right now!

Hello, this weeks Saturday Challenge at Catch The Bug is Anything Goes! I made a Christmas card because there are so many new totally adorable images at Bugaboo Stamps and I was dying to use one so this is Chibi Reindeer!

I coloured the image with copics then I embossed with the Softly Falling EF and added dazzling diamonds glitter with the quickie glue pen. The card base is cherry cobbler with a layer of SU Fresh Prints dsp. There's a strip of crumb cake and glimmer paper punched with the MS icicle edge punch and then it's finished off with snowflakes made with the Northern Frost die and twine.

Freebie Friday, Halloween House Silhouette!

Hello, it's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps, and todays Freebie is this awesome Halloween House Silhouette.

For my project today I made a card that can also be used as a decoration, simply by using a battery operated tealight.

My card base is black, with a layer or purple from Recollections (I now it looks blue, but IRL it's purple) I stamped it with the woodgrain background stamp and sponged the edges in eggplant ink. The image was printed onto vellum, which works beautifully. I coloured in some of the windows with a yellow copic on the back of the vellum. Then I just finished it with some twine.

Here's what it looks like lit up! Make sure to stop by the Catch The Bug Blog, there's lots of great samples using this weeks Freebie!

OBG, Stella Christmas - Fruitcake!

Hello, it's Oldie But Goodie Day at Catch The Bug, and today I've used Stella Christmas-Fruitcake from Bugaboo Stamps! I've love this Stella & sentiment, so funny! lol

I coloured stella with copics and added some sparkle with wink of stella brushes and her glasses have crystal effects on them. The card base is always artichoke, but the other papers are from Recollections. I like the vanilla piece it's shimmery!

I also used the Sketch Saturday challenge #380
