SC300, Heaven Sent!
This is one of the bears from the new Angel Bears set. This is a Bugaboo image now available in clear stamp form at Totally Stampalicious!
I stamped the bear with perfect plum onto dp, for his body, vanilla for mouth & halo, vellum for wings and white for the cloud. I cut out all the pieces and layered from the bottom up. The cloud was covered in fun flock, the perfect plum ink started to run when I was covering the cloud with glue, so it has a hint of plum in it!
The star, halo wings and tiny heart all have icicle stickles on them. The wings are vellum, and as the stickles dried, they started to lift up, which I think looks kinda cool!

The 2 panels are dp from DCWV text prints. The pumpkin, leaves and stalks are paper pieced scraps of dp from Basic Grey.

Riley BLOG HOP Time!
All the new stamps are available now at Riley and Company! There is a 10% discount if you decide to purchase the whole set! And I'm sure you know by now, each Design Team member is giving away a Free Riley (winners choice) to one lucky randomly drawn winner! All you have to do is leave a comment to be entered.
My first project features the New Mummy Riley! I stamped him onto a white tag made with the Tag #3 nesties die. I cut around the edge and then matted this with a black tag. The edges are sponged with Tim Holtz antique linen. I stamped Mummy Riley again on white, and coloured both with copics. I cut one out and popped it up.
I started with a regular can, Manwich to be exact, and coloured the top and bottom rims with black permanent marker. Then to make my faux gauze, I took one 8x11" piece of white cardstock, off stamped it with the Canvas background stamp in Tim Holtz antique linen ink. Then I tore the sheet into strips. The strips were then crumpled, opened and I sponged on more ink. I put a strip of scor tape on the backs of the strips to cover the can. One piece of cardstock was more than enough to cover this size can.
There's jumbo eyelets in the sides of the can and wire for the handle. I also used cording, fibre and gauze to tie the tag on and decorate!
This card features the new Hiking Riley! I stamped Riley onto white and coloured him wth copics. I guess I got stuck on the tag idea! lol I used the EK pine edge punch to make the tree line, and added it to the baja breeze tag, then backed it with early espresso. Pretty much all the edges are sponged. I cut Riley out and popped him up. The sentiment is from the 'Things Riley Might Say' set. I finished this off with a wood bead and some twine. The whole tag is on dimensionals too.
The card base is early espresso with cajan craze embossed with the Quickutz leaves EF. The edges are sponged and I added some faux stitches with a fine tip marker.

Riley was stamped 2 times on white, coloured with copics and then I cut the second Riley out & popped him up.
The whole idea for this card really came about from this dp. It's High School Musical dp I found a while back at the $ store! Since it looks like doodles I thought it was a great match for this stamp.
Hope to see you tonight for more peeks and a chance to win!

Riley Sneak Peek Day #2, and Challenge!
Today I used the new Popping Pumpkin Riley! I think he's so cute, and great for a fall or Thanksgiving card, or even an invite to a pumpkin farm or pumpkin carving party!
I coloured Riley with copics, then cut him and the scallop circles with nesties.
The card base is chocolate chip. The bottom is more mustard, embossed with the Pumpkin Harvest EF and edges sponged with Pumpkin pie ink. The top is retired DP from SU.
You can't really see it too much on the from, but I have a strip punched with a Fiskars edge punch running between the top & bottom panels.
I finished the front with a ribbon and Sentiment from the Sayings #1 set, punch with a MS tag punch.
Here's the inside, and you can see the leafy Fiskars edge punch better here! I left it blank, but it will probably be a Thanksgiving card!

Riley Sneak Peek Day #1!
I decided to use the matchbox die with the easel on top to make a cute little Halloween treat container! Count DracuRiley makes me think of red & black, and his surroundings are usually full of brocade/castle type things so I tried to give it that feel!
The drawer part is black, and it's covered with cherry cobbler embossed with the Kassie's Brocade EF, edges sponged.
I popped up Count DracuRiley on dimensionals, and added a bat. The drawer pull is a metallic red brad.
You can see the easel better in this side view.
The Riley and Company Design Team will be showing sneak peeks of Riley all week. There will also be a Blog Hop Thursday September 23 at 10 pm est. The stamps will also be available for purchase at that time. If you comment on our blogs during the blog hop, you will be entered to win one Riley stamp of your choice, there will be one per blog! There will also be a fall package available for 10% off the entire set!

TSMONDAY, 3 Ribbons!
I am now the proud owner of the fanciest grocery list pad around, and I used 3 different ribbons to decorate the spiral thingy on the side!
I used Shopping Cart Stella for this project. I stamped her with memento black onto white and coloured with copics. The image was cut out with the petite oval nesties. The edges were sponged with river rock and so saffron.
The notebook is from the $ store. I unwound the spiral thingy from the edge and wrapped an eleastic around the inside pages while I covered the front & back. Hint: if you wrap the pages with an elastic, it keeps everything in place so it's easy to wind the spiral thingy back in place!
I love the top piece. It's the reverse side of the bottom dp but I stamped it with a new background stamp called Spoon & Fork and embossed it in gold.
The middle is rick rack made with the dies from MFT and gold metallic cardstock.
Everyone is welcome to play along, just make something using 3 ribbons and upload your creation to Mr. Linky at the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Speedy's Challenge #21, Operation Write Home!
I used the Thankful Mums & Pumpkins set for the image, and the sentiment is from Daffodil & Anise!
The image was embossed with black embossing powder and then I sponged on regal rose ink. The vase was coloured with copics, which I always forget, makes the embossing bleed! I cut the image out and popped it up.
The card base is black, with a layer of white and then a pink cardstock from Mark's Finest Papers that looks a lot like regal rose, very pretty, sorry I'm not sure what it's called! The designer paper is Basic Grey Porcelain.
I finished it off with some mini black brads.
So why not come over and join in the fun. There are awesome prizes each week! You can find all the details here at Mark's Finest Papers Blog! Make sure to upload your creation at the bottom of the post by 3pm Friday Sept. 24.
Have a Great Weekend!

Look at Those Fabulous Fashionable Ears!
To start, I stamped the canvas background stamp in crumb cake onto very vanilla and kraft cardstock. Then I stamp the Monkey on both with soft suede, and once on white. Then I cut out the pieces and glued them to the white. Then I cut the whole thing out. I added red marker to his mouth, and tiny flower gems for earrings!
The base is rich razzleberry, and then I wrapped the ribbon around so it ties shut. I matted a piece of cottage wall dp with pale plum and attached it with dimensionals.
The ballon is from the Sock Monkey set, I stamped it onto white 5 times and added Daisy's name with the 'Rough Type' set. They were cut out, edges lightly sponged with pale plum, and positioned on the end of the linen thread and attached with dimensionals.
And this is Olivia, who was finally brave enough to do it because she had her friend Daisy with her!

The Big 5...0...!
So Monday was the 5oth Birthday of my BIL! I know this card may not be your typical masculine card, but Guy is in the business...acting/singing and this just seemed perfect! He actually had a singing performance Monday night in TO that a few family members were able to attend!
I knew I wanted to make a card that had something to do with music, and when I saw this paper in a DCWV pad called Songbird Stack, I knew I had to have it!
The cardbase is black, with a layer of the glittery dp. The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers set 'Daffodil & Anise'. I embossed it with black embossing powder. I used circle & inverted circle scallop nesties to make the layers.
The tickets were made with the SU set 'Admit it' I masked off the center and stamped with versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. Then I cut them out and stamped in the 5 & 0.
I finished it off with some brads and ribbon!

For my sample this week, I'm using the new set Stinky Situation just released this week! I love this set, it includes a few critters, sentiments and this great tree background!

I finished it off with some beautiful black satin ribbon from MFP's and some yellow taffeta. I tied the little sentiment tag on with some fancy black fibre!

The card base is black. I layered this with cherry cobbler with a rectangle cut out of the center. I stamped it with basic grey and a woodgrain stamp then sponged the edges with cherry cobbler. I used craft white ink to stamp the letters & numbers in the background, hoping they looked like chalk!
I stamped some letters & numbers onto white, and punched them out with a circle punch. I finished it off with some ribbon!
Everyone is welcome to play along. Make sure to upload your creation on the Riley & Company blog so we can all have look!

Speedy's Challenge #18 and Big News!
This is my card for this weeks challenge Speedy's Friends #18, Make a Friendship card. I also combined this with this weeks Teapot Tuesady challenge MMTPT109. The destination Station this week is to a Woman named Eula who will be celebrating her 108th birthday, now that's something to celebrate!
Since Eula likes roses, I used the Roses for You set from Mark's Finest Papers. I stamped the 2 large roses, one 2 times, and the other 3 times with versammark onto watercolour paper. Then I embossed with black EP and coloured them in with SU markers.
One of my favorite new colouring tools is the Niji pearlescent watercolours. They are so easy to use, just wet a brush, pick up some paint and apply, and they don't cost a fortune! The picture below shows the sparkle on the roses.
The card base is black, with a layer of daffodil delight and a layer of very vanilla embossed with the Victoria EF. I cut out the roses and leaves and arranged them, layering the rose in the bottom corner.
The sentiment is also from the Roses for You set. I used the Nestie Tag Shape #3 to cut it out. I really wanted a sheer bow, but I couldn't get anything to look nice without covering the roses, so I went with the gold cord!
There's still time to join in this weeks challenge, just make sure to link your creation Here, you have until Friday Sept. 3 at 3pm.
Recipe
Stamps: Roses for You
