Rain or Shine!
My Daughter Olivia made this for the Bugaboo challenge on the Catch the Bug Challenge Blog, to include rain! She used the Best Buds Brats set it is a Bugaboo image also available in stamp form at Totally Stampalicious!
The raindrops & animals are from a Hanna Stamps set, which you can still get at amberink.com
She made up the sentiment herself, and she's cut out the girls and added them on top of the rain!
Well we had the worst storm ever here yesterday as far as damage & scariness! The wind was so strong, there are trees down everywhere...big huge trees! We were without hydro & cable all day and most of the evening yesterday. My neighbours & many others are still without. My older Daughter's highschool was in lockdown at 8:45 am after a tree fell leaving live wires down and the possibility of a transformer falling!
My Nieces school had the roof torn off while they were in it!!!! She and all the kids were terrified, I'm sure the Teachers were too, this stuff never happens here, we usually only read about it!
Our Neighbours tree fell on our fence & destroyed the 20ft canopy/garage my Husband has in the backyard...what a mess! But luckily we're all fine!
Have a Great Weekend!

Singing in the Rain!
Winter finally seems to be behind us, and now we're in the rainy season! The sun is out as I type this, but it could turn at any minute, that's just April in Ontario!
I made this card for 2 challenges. The Bugaboo Catch the Bug challenge this week is to include rain. I also used the MOJO Monday sketch MOJO188!
This is a Bugaboo image available in stmp for at Totally Stampalicious called Cute Turtles! He was stamped twice, coloured with copics and I cut out one of the images and popped it on top of the other.
The card base is real red with layer of daffodil delight and then dp from K&Co's daydream pad.
I used an EK edge punch on the red & yellow strip, and embossed with a heart EF.
It's finished off with some twine and dew drops!
Have a Great Day!

MMTPT143, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest!
The bird was made using the 2-step bird punch in bashful blue. Then I sponged him in bashful blue and marina mist, with so saffron on his belly.
I used a circle nestie to make a hole in the center. Then I stamped the leaves with a stamp from 'Pretty Amazing' in old olive. Next it was embossed with a wood grain EF and I sponged it lightly wih Tim Holtz antique linen. The little flowers were made with one of the itty bitty punches in regal rose, edges sponged and pearls in the centers.
For the top I used creamy caramel embossed with the forest branches EF. Then I rounded the corners and sponged on more mustard, and creamy caramel. I used fiskars scissors to get the jagged edge.
The bottom is also creamy caramel. It's embossed with the seeing spots EF and then I sponged on creamy caramel, close to cocoa, chocolate chip & white craft.
The Destination Station this week will be to a fellow Teapotter, and it will be a surprise who, until they upload they're card after mine! Follow the link to read more about it!
Have a Great Day!

TSMONDAY, Include Food!
It's time for our Totally Stampalicious Monday Challenge and this weeks challenge is to include food on your project!
This challenge is perfect for the new Dessert Dottie! I stamped Dottie onto vanilla-neenah solar crest and coloured her with copics. The 3 hearts were made from the MS heart punch. I added crystal effects to a few spots on Dottie, the pie and the hearts!
I used last weeks SCS colour challenge colours CC319, concord crush, ivory and crumb cake! I embossed the vanilla/ivory pieces with a heart EF, and sponged the edges with Tim Holtz antique linen ink, it's one of my favorite inks!
This is only one of the sentiments in this set!
I know the picture makes it look dark, but the base cardstock and the ribbon are concord crush!
Please join us in the challenge, all Guest Designers are chosen from those who particpate in the challenges! Just make sure to upload your card or project to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!

Happy Easter!
Isn''t he the cutest little punched bunny! I came across this card by Mercedes at SCS, and she provided a link to her Blog with a great video tutorial on how to make this Hop inspired bunny! There is also a second tutorial here which includes a bunny body!
The basket was made using creamy caramel. Then I embossed the front & back with the square lattice EF and rubbed the creamy caramel ink pad over it!
The sentiment is from a MFP set called 'Spring Has Sprung'
I made these using the Pentagon Treat Tube tutorial! The bodies are pretty in pink for my Nieces, and soft sky for my Nephew! The scalloped punched edges are scrap dp. The 'Chocolate Bunny' was stamped with versamark onto close to cocoa and embossed with clear embossing powder!
Hope you have a Happy Easter,
Laurie

MMTPT142, Tulip Time!
Hello again, this is my card for today's Teapot Tuesday Challenge MMTPT142. This week we were to bring Tulips!
The Destination Station this week is to Kay, the almost 92 year old Grandmother of Charlene aka crystaldolphins! Kay has had some health problems lately and has been in the hospital since February! Now that's enough to bring anyone's spirits down, so we are sending her some happy mail. She is looking forward to returning home soon, just in time to enjoy the nice weather, and get back to her computer!
I've has the new owl punch from SU for a while now, still in it's wrapper so I decided to brake it in instead of using a stamp. I followed Valita's wonderful tutorial, she always comes up with the coolest ideas even the leaves are genius!
The tulip is daffodil delight, edges sponged with ruby red. The stem & leaves are old olive, edges sponged. I used a glue pen and added dazzling diamonds glitter to the tulip.
The fancy mat in the background is a Marianne's Designs creatables die, which our local stamp store is now carrying.
The card base is ruby red, with a layer of crumb cake embossed with the SU square lattice EF. Then I used the ticket punch on the corner and added some yellow pearls!
I finished it off with a sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers set 'In the Forest', and a little bow!
Have a Great Day!

TSMONDAY, Keep It Simple!
Hello, it's time for another Totally Stampalicious challenge! This weeks challenge is to go simple and use 3 or less layers! You'd think this would be getting easier, but I find these simple cards really difficult! I started with a piece of dp, but couldn't keep it to 3 or less, so I had to ditch the dp...too bad it looked nice! lol But that's how I ended up with this colour combo, it went with the dp!
I used Sunshine Stella. She's coloured with copics, then I sponged the background with blush blossom and mellow moss around the edge.
The card base is mellow moss, with a layer of blush blossom. I embossed the top with a dot EF and the bottom with zebra stripes.
I'm also entering this in this weeks Featured Stamper Challenge FS219! This weeks featured stamper is our very own super talented Sue aka Coffeestamper! I cased this card. If you get time, you should play in this challenge too!
Please join us in this weeks challenge and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog! You also might want to save the date! This Thursday April 21, 9pm est is the next Totally Stampalicious Release and Blog Hop! Wait til you see the new stamps, you're going to love them!
Hope to see you at the party, have a great day!

Thank You Cindy!
Hello, I made this for Cindy aka Mothermark. On April 23rd she will be celebrating her 5th Anniversary on SCS! Cindy is the fabulous host of the Teapot Tuesday Challenge, and each week she comes up with such creative fun stories all based on a Teapot! She also manages to incorporate a destination each week, for those who want to send someone some cheer! That's alot of organizing!
I owe Cindy a huge Thank You for arranging for my Cousin Kim to be a recipient of these cards a couple weeks ago. He and his Wife were over joyed by the outpouring of good wishes and beautiful cards that they received from the wonderful Teapotters!
So this is for Cindy, I hope she likes it! I included as many dots as I could! lol I chose the colours based on the fun dotty images on Cindy's blog!
I chose this image because it's a teacup, it's cute, and I was dying to use it! lol I've had it for awhile, it's called 'A cupful of happiness' ((how appropriate) from cdstamps.com.
The image was stamped onto white & I coloured the cat with copics, using my cat Milo as inspiration! lol I was really happy with the outcome. The image was stamped again on dp from Bo Bunny. Then I paper pieced it together.
I've seen these pearl sprays used on cards, and really liked the look. I got these in the bridal section at Michaels. I'm not going to tell you how long I played with them trying to get it to look nice, but I finally settled for this!
Have a Great Day!

Speedy's Challenge #50, Emboss Resist Technique!
I used a stamp from the MFP "In The Forest' set. It was stamped with versamark, and embossed with black embossing powder. Then I used sponges to rub in the colours. I started at the bottom and went up with so saffron, daffodil delight, bashful blue, and marina mist.
The card base is black with a layer of so saffron on top and marina mist on the bottom. Both were embossed with Tim Holtz embossing folders and then I sponged & rubbed matching ink on them. The outside edges were also sponged lightly with going grey! The sentiment is from MFP 'Ladybugs & Carnation' set. It's embossed too. I finished it off with some gold brads, and popped up the image and the sentiment!
Have a Great Day!

MMTPT141, You Rock!
For my card to I'm also using this weeks MOJO Monday sketch, MOJO186!
I used the new Rock Star Riley from Riley and Company!! I stamped him onto white, coloured him with copics. I masked off the image and sponged around him with so saffron and then around the edges with more mustard! The card base is black, with a layer of not quite navy that's embossed with the seeing spots EF. The bottom is a scrap piece of dp from the Teen Angst pad by Memory Keepers. The music note edge was made with an EK punch, and I popped up one of the music notes.
The sentiment is also from Riley and Company. I popped up the image panel and the sentiment!
Have a Great Day!

A Birthday card & Olivia's Entry!
This card was made by my Daughter Olivia (11)! She is entering this in Bugaboo's Catch the Bug challenge, to have 4 or more layers.
She used JJ cooks, which is a Bugaboo image available in stamp form at Totally Stampalicious! JJ is coloured in with markers and she even added crystal effects to her eye glasses & wine glass.
Olivia used various colours and panels to make the layers, and I see she also used a nestabilitie and and embossing folder! The sentiment is popped up!
I'll have another post shortly!
Have a Great Day,
Laurie

TSMONDAY, Anything Goes!
Well the secrets out, Gus secretly thinks he's Hugh Heffner! lol Doesn't he look the part in his leopard print robe, and look at those playboy bunny slippers! lol I coloured Gus with copics, and paper pieced his robe and hat, then added red fun flock to his slippers.
The card base is black, with a layer of real red embossed with a cheetah EF. The leopard print was a scrap piece of DP. The sentiment is from this same set 'Birthday Gus'.
So why not join in the fun, and upload your card or project to the Totally Stampalicious Blog for your chance to win!
I'm also entering this in this weeks Catch the Bug Challenge, to use four or more layers!
I also used last weeks sketch challenge SC327!

Flying Cats, Oh My!
Isn't this the cutest chubby cat! I love cats, so this was fun to work with! I love the way the cat turned out, not sure I'm thrilled with the background & ribbon, but hopefully it will make Linda smile!
I printed two cats, coloured them and then cut one cat body out. I added dazzling diamonds glitter to the wings, even the wings I cut off the first cat. The wings on the whole image are slightly curled. Then I glued the wings pieces I had cut away from the first image onto the back. Then I used dimensionals to add the body on top!
The card base is melon mambo, with a layer of very vanilla embossed with a Butterfly EF. The center panel is dp from SU ice cream palor. The sentiment is from a Mark's Finest Papers set called Greet the Day With Gerber.
The tiny pretty in pink butterfly was made with the MS butterfly punch, and I covered it with glitter. I finished it off with some ribbon and gems!

RILEY0711, Let's Get Girly!
This is the new Sunflower Riley! I made him Sophie (or a crossdresser LOL) by making a little dress from dp. It's really very easy, you can find a tutorial here!
This card was actually pretty simple, just alot of cutting with the flowers.
Please join in the challenge and upload your card to the Riley and Company Blog, and if you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY0711.
Have a Great Day!

Tutorial, Clothes for Riley!
Now to make it look like it's part of the image, use a fine tip black marker and draw in any lines or detail you'd like. Then I go around the edge of the whole image with a black SU marker so it looks like it was stamped.
Now in this case, since the arm is over lapping, you can cut out the arm and glue the dress to your main piece. Or what I did here, was cut off the arm just along the side of the dress and the bottom of the sleeve. Then stamp and colour another arm and slip in under the sleeve, so now the arm is on top!
For my finished piece, which you can see in this post, I added some tiny gems for buttons and voila Riley is now Sophie!
Have a Great Day!

TSMONDAY, Happy Birthday!
Hello, well I'm hoping this is a more productive week, last week was pretty much a write off for me!
Before I get to the card details, I just want to Welcome Julie, she is now a full time member of the Totally Stampalicious Design Team, so Welcome Julie!
The new Guest designers have been picked for April and May! Congratulations to Heather and Lynda! For your chance to win a Guest Designer Spot, all you have to do is play in the weekly challenges! This weeks is easy, make a birthday card and upload it to the Totally Stampalicious Blog for your chance to win!
Ok so onto my card. Today I used Present Scarlette. She's coloured with copics, and cut out with a label #4 die. To make the mat, I used a label #8 die, but the sides were straight, so I put the image panel on top close to the edge on one side and hand cut around the curves and then did the same for the other side...hope that makes sense!
I made this for yesterday's Featured Stamper challenge FS217. This weeks featured stamper is Irene aka DandI93! Irene always has great ideas, and so she has a gallery full of fabulous inspiration! I cased this card.
The card base is early espresso with a layer of wild wasabi. Then the bottom piece is Basic Greys Curio (love it) and the top is very vanilla embossed with the textile EF. I added sme crystal brads.
The sentiment is all one stamp, but I masked it out and stamped the first line in wild wasabi and used it on the front of the card. The rest was stamped in early espresso on the inside.
The present edge was made with a fiskars punch.
I'm also entering this in this weeks Bugaboo Catch the Bug Challenge, anything Goes!
Now it's your turn, happy stamping!
Have a Great Day!
