The card base is black, with a layer of pink pirouette and then some designer paper from DCWV. I don't know if you can see it in the photo, but I embossed the black piece with the Seeing Spots embossing folder.

I also used the splitcoaststampers sketch SC459.

For my card I used Mummy Riley. I coloured him with copics. I used a Freshly made sketch from a few weeks ago, FMS106.

The card base is black, with very vanilla stamped with the canvas background stamp in Tim Holtz antique linen and edges sponged.

The trees were made with a Marvy punch. and I sponged the center panel, the circle and the oval with pumpkin pie.

ABC Monday - Cash Cow!

It's Anything But A Card Day over at Catch The Bug! It's my first time doing the ABC project since starting on the Design Team, so I hope I don't disappoint! We've recently been trying to weed out some of our unused clutter by selling things locally online. So I decided to make a Faux Wallet to hold the cash we've been making! I love the Cow Humor images and the Cash Cow made me think of this idea!

I used the Wallet Tutorial here for the measurements to make the wallet, except I made mine 6" wide and 8 3/4" long. Instead of embossing I used this already embossed paper.
I coloured the image with copics, really just the cash and a bit of shadowing on the cow. Sorry I had trouble getting good photos!
I also made a belly band, it's a piece of silver cardstock 1.5" wide and 8.25" long. I attached the ends, overlapping 1" and then added the Cash Cow with dimensionals. I left the band fairly loose hoping my wallet will someday be filled! lol Wishful thinking, every time my Daughter needs money for school I have to dip into it.

RILEY2013, Buttons!

It's time for a Riley and Company challenge, and this time Frances is challenging us to use buttons! I'm sorry, I was wanting to make a halloween card, and decided on the Pirate Riley, and just realized he is reitred so I apologize for that!

I coloured him with copics. and added gold atyou spica to his belt buckle.

The card base is black with a layer of crumb cake I distressed and sponged. I used riding hood red and embossed it with the Skeleton Scroll EF and then rubbed the basic grey ink pad over it. The designer papers are scraps from my scrap bin.

The button was made with a sizzlits die from gold metallic cardstock, I made two and glued them together so it's stronger and thicker.

Please join us in our challenge, and upload your creation using buttons to the Riley and Company Blog. If you upload to any forums, please use the keyword RILEY2013.

Have a Great Day!
