Kraft, Embossing & A Pop of Colour!

Hello, this Saturday's Challenge at Catch The Bug is a Recipe - use kraft, embossing and a pop of colour!

For my card I used Present Bear from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the image with copics, using E44, E43 & E42 to match the kraft (crumb cake) cardstock. The present was paper pieced with a scrap piece of designer paper.

The card base is melon mambo, with a layer of crumb cake embossed with the Happy Birthday embossing folder, and I finished it off with some twine.

Freebie Friday, Birthday Clown 3!

Hello, I made this using Birthday Clown 3, this Friday's Freebie at Bugaboo Stamps! I coloured the image with copics, and added stickles to the top of the candle.

The card base is cajun craze, with designed papers from KaiserCraft Party Animals pad.

I also used this weeks SC490.

Bugaboo New Release, Cherries!

Hello, it's Tuesday and that means new release day at Bugaboo Stamps. This is the new Cherries image. I coloured it with copics, and cut it out with a circle die.

I think the card base is lovely lilac, with a layer of white embossed with the swiss dots embossing folder. Then a added a piece of daffodil delight and the designer paper is Doodlebug-fruit stand.

Photo Inspiration Challenge, AKV Love-Bike Ride!

Hello, I made this for this Saturday`s Photo Inspiration Challenge at Catch The Bug! It`s also for our Niece who just got engaged!
I used AKV Love-Bike Ride from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the image with copics, and added stickles to the bike light, and coloured the handle bar with a silver gelly roll pen.

The card base is black, with a layer of white embossed with the love language embossing folder. The designer paper is from DCWV text print, and the sentiment is from SU Pedaling Past.

SSSC220, Monster-ous Birthday Wishes!

Hello, I have another adorable Monster card to share with you! I made this using this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC220.

I used the Silly Monsters set from Your Next Stamp. I love this with the bright colours. I coloured the monster with copics and added crystal effects to his eyes, it`s not dry yet, so his eyes look a little cloudy. The designer paper and green is from Recollections. I also embossed the green piece with the SU decorative dots EF.

YNSFFC12, Monster Eyes!

Hello, I made this for my Kards For Kids group and for the sketch Challenge at Your Next Stamp, YNSFFC12.

This little guy is from a YNS set called Silly Monsters. First I stamped him onto white, and then onto blue designer paper. I cut the monster out of the designer paper and used an exacto knife to cut out his teeth. The spots were coloured right on the designer paper, and the eyes are covered with crystal effects.

The card base is marina mist, with a layer of natural ivory that I stamped with a stamp from the SU gorgeous grunge set in certainly celery. All the designer paper strips were scraps!

SC489, Monster Hugs!

Hello, this is a card I made using this weeks sketch at Splitcoaststampers, SC489. I used a set from Your Next Stamp called Silly Monsters.

I stamped the monster twice and cut one out. The card base is gumball green, with a piece of designer paper from Bo Bunny-surprize pad.

Don't Forget The Sunscreen!

Hello, it's Humor Me Wednesday over at Catch The Bug, and I made this card for Sunscreen Day (May27)!

For my card today, I used Beach Frog - Sunbathing from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the image with copics and added crystal effects to her sunglasses and stickles to the sun.

The blue card base is from Recollections and the designer paper is Bo Bunny. I embossed the white on top with Tim Holtz sun ray embossing folder and the blue strip is embossed with the d-vine EF.

I also used this weeks seize the sketch STS20.

SSS210, Edward Elephant!

Hello, I made this for this weeks Stella Says Sketch Challenge SSS210.
This is actually a Birthday Card for my Daughter Rachel who turns 21 on May 27th. She loves Elephants and Edward is no exception! This image is Edward Elephant-Flower from Bugaboo Stamps. I made two so I could cut out his head from one and pop it up. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, and the designer paper is from Recollections.

Bugaboo Bingo Challenge Time!

Hello, this weeks Saturday Challenge at Catch The Bug is Bingo!
For my card today I used stripes, starts with S & kraft. This is one of the adorable frogs from Bugaboo Stamps called Beach Frog - sand. I coloured him with copics and added crystal effects to her eyes. 

The card base is crumb cake (kraft) and then a layer of white that I sponged with soft sky using a scallop circle for a mask. The sun and the starfish are both popped up. 

I also used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS136.

Freebie Friday Bee Bear!

Hello, this is this weeks Freebie Friday from Bugaboo Stamps. This cute little guy is Bee Bear-Heart String! I copied the image twice, coloured with copics and cut out the head to pop up. I also added stickles to the wings and antenna.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Everyone! I made this card using a technique my friend Sue showed me. The butterfly from Papillon Potpourri, was stamped with versamark onto vellum, and then I used a B06 copic to colour it in on the back, such a pretty technique.

The card base is marina mist, with a layer of designer paper from the subtles pad on the top and the bottom piece is from the Tea for Two pkg. but they match really well.

The Sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set, stamped in pacific point.

I also used a Freshly Made Sketch from a Week or so ago, FMS134.

RS#113, Monster Hello!

Hello, I made this for Retro Sketch RS#113, and of course it's perfect for the Kards for Kids group.

This is Monster 2 from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured him/her with copics and cut it out. The card base is coastal cabana, with a layer of designer paper from DCWV's girl stack. The Monster is popped up on so saffron cardstock.

The sentiment is from Your Next Stamp, along with the speech bubble die.

Hello, I made this card using an Oldie But Goodie from Bugaboo Stamps! This is AKV Summer Sports-Surf. I coloured the image with copics and added stickles to the sun and surf!

The card base is tempting turquoise, with a layer of designer paper from American Crafts-Shoreline pad. The yellow strip is from Recollections.

Humor Me Wednesday - It's National Hamburger Month!

Hello, It's Humor me Wednesday over at Catch The Bug, and I made a card for National Hamburger Month! For my card today, I used AKV BBQ - Hamburger from Bugaboo Stamps.

I coloured the image with copics. I started with the coveralls using B97, B95 & B93. I tried adding texture to the coveralls by spraying a linen background stamp with copic blender, stamping off the excess on scrap paper and then onto the image.

The card base is midnight muse, with a layer of white stamped with the Hardwood background stamp in smoky slate. The designer paper is from My Minds Eye Out Of The Blue. The sentiment is from MFT.

I also used this weeks Mojo Monday Sketch MOJO344.

OBG, AKV Skateboard!

Hello, this is my card for this weeks Oldie But Goodie Day at Catch The Bug! For my card today, I used AKV Skateboard from Bugaboo Stamps.

I used picked some pretty girly colours, the card base is Crisp Canteloupe and the designer paper is from Basic Grey's Soleil paper pad.

The image is coloured with copics, then popped up and I finished it off with some twine.
