Freebie Friday, Beach Frog!

Hello, it's Freebie Friday time at Bugaboo Stamps, and this weeks Freebie is this Beach Frog! I coloured him with copics.

The card base is white, with a piece of marina mist cut with the striped scallop thinlits die, which always reminds me of waves. The designer paper on the side is from Bo Bunny-barefoot & bliss. I popped the image up and used a YNS die to make the sun.

Make sure to get your freebie at Bugaboo Stamps, and check out the Catch The Bug Blog to see more samples made using this cute little Beach Frog!

It's Go Fishing Day!

It's Humor Me Wednesday at Catch The Bug, we choose a holiday and let it inspire us! June 18th is Go Fishing Day, so I made a card using Beach Frog-fishing from Bugaboo stamps.

I coloured this cute little Beach Frog with copics, and added some silver with a gelly roll pen to the fishing rod, and crystal effects to his eyes.

The card base is from Recollections, with fish designer paper I found at a 2nd hand store and the striped paper is from KaiserCraft Animal Party. The fish was made with a Martha Stewart punch, from paper I made with glossy paper and some spray mists that I had in my stash.

I also used the Deconstructed Sketch Challenge DS153.

HMW, National Summer Day!

I made this for Humor Me Wednesday, June 21st is Finally Summer Day, and don't we all look forward some cool treats in the summer!

This is Beach Frog-Summer Treats from Bugaboo Stamps. I coloured the image with copics and added some crystal effects to her eyes. The card base is a blue from Recollections. The designer paper is from Echo Park-summer days.

I made the popsicle using the slot punch from SU. I punched two and glued them to a scrap strip, then cut the one end so it's not rounded and then trimmed the strip away so you can't see it. The sticks are just slivers of cardstock hand cut and glued on.

Hello, this weeks Saturday Challenge at Catch The Bug is Bingo!
For my card today I used stripes, starts with S & kraft. This is one of the adorable frogs from Bugaboo Stamps called Beach Frog - sand. I coloured him with copics and added crystal effects to her eyes.

The card base is crumb cake (kraft) and then a layer of white that I sponged with soft sky using a scallop circle for a mask. The sun and the starfish are both popped up.

I also used this weeks Freshly Made Sketch FMS136.

I Have Some Exciting News!

Hi Everyone, well I have the most exciting news! I was invited to join the Awesome Design Team over at Bugaboo Stamps, and I'm so happy it still feels like a dream!

I love Jodie's images. There is something for everyone in her collection, and they are perfect for my Kards for kids group, where we send cards to Toronto's Sick Kids Hospital.

So today is Freebie Friday over at Bugaboo Stamps, and that means there is a Free digi image for you to try and this week it's Beach Frog, isn't he adorable! Make sure to check out the Catch The Blog Blog to see more inspiration using Beach Frog.

I started with bermuda bay matted with white and the dp is from Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss pad. I coloured Beach Frog with copics and added some crystal effects to his eyes. The 2 pieces of dp across are scraps from my scrap basket. I used a hole punch to cut some dots from the blue and covered them with stickles.

I also used the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge SSSC191.

So my new journey begins, and I know it's going to be awesome!

Have a Great Day!
