Freebie Friday, Monster Pocket!

Hello, it's Freebie Friday at Bugaboo Stamps, and today's Freebie is this adorable Monster Pocket! I tried to get some texture on the pocket by first colouring the pocket only with copics, then spraying rubbing alcohol on my Linen background stamp and stamping onto the pocket. Then I coloured the rest on the image and cut it out.

The card base is midnight muse, with a layer of designer paper from DCWV Animal Prints Stack.  The middle strip is coastal cabana embossed with the Decorative Dots embossing folder. Then the image was popped up on a 2.5" circle.

I also used this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC235.

Make sure to stop by the Catch The Bug Blog to see more great samples using this weeks Freebie!

SSSC220, Monster-ous Birthday Wishes!

Hello, I have another adorable Monster card to share with you! I made this using this weeks Sweet Sunday Sketch SSSC220.

I used the Silly Monsters set from Your Next Stamp. I love this with the bright colours. I coloured the monster with copics and added crystal effects to his eyes, it`s not dry yet, so his eyes look a little cloudy. The designer paper and green is from Recollections. I also embossed the green piece with the SU decorative dots EF.

YNSFFC12, Monster Eyes!

Hello, I made this for my Kards For Kids group and for the sketch Challenge at Your Next Stamp, YNSFFC12.

This little guy is from a YNS set called Silly Monsters. First I stamped him onto white, and then onto blue designer paper. I cut the monster out of the designer paper and used an exacto knife to cut out his teeth. The spots were coloured right on the designer paper, and the eyes are covered with crystal effects.

The card base is marina mist, with a layer of natural ivory that I stamped with a stamp from the SU gorgeous grunge set in certainly celery. All the designer paper strips were scraps!
