RILEY1210, What Are Your Colours?
Ok I screwed up! I thought is was supposed to be my Country's colours which would be red and white. Then I double checked somewhere and thought I read 'Our Country's' colours which I took to mean red, white and blue, so I had this whole card planned out in my head, only to find out it was My Country's colours, so just pretend there's no blue! lol
I used Tent Riley for my card today. I stamped the image on white and coloured with copics. I had seen a couple Tent Rileys with a paper pieced tent and loved the look, so I had to give him a nice starry tent! I also restamped the image and coloured Riley head, cut it out and popped it up! There's a tiny little gem in the center of the flower.
The card base is night of navy, with a layer of white and then dp I picked up a while ago from Michaels by Creative Imaginations.
I cut out the Riley image using petite oval and scallop nesties. This is also popped up. I finished it off with ribbon.
Don't forget there's still a BIG SALE on at Riley and Company, it ends July 4th, so nows the time to get those Riley's you've always wanted.
We'd love to see you use those Riley/Sophie stamps and play along.
Once you have created your card/project go back to The Riley and Company Blog and place a comment with a link to your card/project to this post so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS don't forget to include the keyword RILEY1210. We can't wait to see what you create!

TSMONDAY, Baby Baby Baby!
Breaking News...If you're looking to see who the Blog Hop winners are, you can find them by following the Totally Stampalicious link!
I used the new Bently stamp set, this is a Bugaboo image created by Jodie Mackrell and now available in clear stamp form at Totally Stampalicious.
I picked dp from SU Welcome Neighbour pkg and that's pretty much where the rest of the card design and colours came from! I stamped Bently on white, coloured him with copics, and paper pieced his pj's and hobo bag with dp from the same pkg. I also added a tiny heart gem to the hobo bag. Bently is popped up on dimensionals.
The card base is bermuda bay, with a layer of white and the bottom is old olive. I stamped the old olive with itty bitty bgs and versmark. The grass strip was made with the MS edge punch, and it's popped up.
The sentiment is also in this set, and I stamped it right on the faux grass. I finished it off with old olive taffeta.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with, don't forget to link up to Mr. Linky on the Totally Stampalicious Blog for your chance to win!

I have something from each of the 4 new sets to show you today! All the sets are images designed by Jodie Mackrell of Bugaboo Stamps. I love that they are all cute and funny, what a great combination.
The first one above, is Chef Pierre. I found this cool dp at our local Scrapbooking store. I Also had a recipe box from Michaels $1.50 bin in my stash and I found the big wooden pin at Michaels too! It was red, so I didn't have to paint it, how perfect! So I covered the recipe box with the dp. Then I stamped the Chef 2 times and coloured him with copics, and the serving dish is covered with a silver atyou spica. I cut one to fit the pin and the other with oval petite nesties.
I stamped the sentiment onto the pin with black stazon ink. The pin has old olive taffeta ribbon, and the box old olive satin ribbon. I punched out one of the plates from the dp yo can see in the pic and covered it with crystal effects. I tied a button around the bow, and then attached the plate to the button with crystal effects. I love how it turned out, great gift, but I may keep it myself!!!
Next up is a card I made using the TLC278 magical marquee challenge! What a cool card, who comes up with this stuff!!!
Okay so this is the new Gus & Stella. I coloured them with copics and added crystal effects to their glasses. I followed the directions for the card above, using always artichoke, rose red, very vanilla and dp. Both sentiments on the front and inside come with this set, along with a couple others.

Speedy's Challenge #8, Embossing!
Olivia and I went to a Scrapbook/stamping sale last Saturday, and I got a couple MS punches for $5.00 including this mouse rat edge punch!
So my card base is almost amethyst, with a layer of soft suede and then a layer of vanilla embossed with a Fiskars Paw print embossing plate. I sponged the edges with Tim Holtz antique linen.
The cat and mouse are both from the "Speedy the Cats Friends" set from Mark's Finest Papers. I used SU ink pads and a pumpkin pie marker to watercolour in the cat & mouse. I tried to make the cat look like an orange tabby, what do you think? I matted this on soft suede, the top is punched with my new MS punch and the bottom edge is an EK zigzag punch.
I didn't have ribbon that matched, so I ran some white taffeta ribbon thru the almost amethyst ink pad. It came out alot darker than the cardstock, oh well!
Reminder: Please come back tomorrow, Thursday June 24, 9 pm est for the Totally Stampalicious New Release and Blog Hop!
Today's Recipe
Stamps: Speedy the Cats Friends
Paper: almost amethyst, soft suede, vanilla, watercolour paper
Ink: memento tuxedo black, Tim Holz antique linen, apricot appeal, almost amethyst, soft suede, sahara sand
Accessories: oval punch, gems, MS border punch, EK zigzag punch, Fiskars paw prints Embossing plate, dimensionals, pumpkin pie, pretty in pink & old olive markers

TSMONDAY, It's a Material Thing!
Today I used the Bugaboo image Desiree Lollipop. I picked my fabric first and took colours from it, so the cardbase is cameo coral with a layer of white embossed with the dots EF from Crafts-too.
I stamped the image in white, coloured with copics and cut out with the Nesite Label #4 die. Then I sponged around the image while it was still in the die. I used so saffron and regal rose to sponge around the edges. I added tiny gems for earrings and the flower center, and crystal effects on the lollipop. This panel is popped up.
The flower is fabric, cut with the Dahlia nesties. I added a large brad to the center, and the leaves were made with the sizzix little leaves die.
Hope you can play along!
Please join us for a NEW RELEASE & BLOG HOP, Thursday June 24, 9:00 pm, they'll be lots of prizes!

Speedy's Friends #7, Background Paper!
I used 2 sets for this card, both from Mark's Finest Papers. My cardbase is chocolate chip, with a layer or real red. Then the bottom is mellow moss embossed with the distressed stripes EF. Then I dragged the creamy caramel ink pad across it to dirty up the raised edges and I sponged around the outside edges.
The top is barely banana stamped with the fern from the Ferns & Chickadees set in chocolate chip, and off stamped to fill in the back. I sponged the edges with barely banana.
The cute little kitty from the Speedy The Cat's Friends set, was stamped with memento rich cocoa onto watercolour paper. I honestly haven't used this technique in a long time, because of my addiction to copics, but this really fun!
I squeezed the close to cocoa and creamy caramel ink pads so I'd have ink on the inside of the lids, and used a paint brush to colour in the kitty. The shadow below is grey. He's playing with a little fern from the Ferns & Chickadees set.
The main image panel is popped up, and I added 3 micro brads to it and red ribbon.
Recipe
Stamps: Speedy the Cat's Friends, Ferns & Chickadees
Paper: chocolate chip, real red, mellow moss, bare banana, watercolour paper
Ink: memento rich cocoa, chocolate chip, close to cocoa, creamy caramel, going grey, pretty in pink (ear), old olive (eye)
Accessories: distressed stripes EF, ribbon, dimensionals, mini brads

RILEY1110, It's All About The Shoe!
It's time for another Riley and Company challenge, this weeks challenge RILEY1110, is Hosted by Patti and it's all about packaging! All you have to do is create some sort of packaging! Please use the keyword RILEy1110, when uploading to SCS!
For todays challenge, I used the Shoe Template by Ellen Hutson to recreate Dorothy's fabulous sparkly red shoes! I used red glittery cardstock I bought at a Dollar Giant. The inside is lined with SU dp.
The tag is Dorothy Sophie of course and I coloured her with copics and added red stickles to her shoes. The sentiment is from the Moose Sayings 1 set, and I thought it was perfect for this! I must confess I did have some chocolate covered almonds I was going to put in the treat bag, but I accidently ate them all, so I had to 'borrow' my Hubby's candy to take the photo! lol
Here's a pic of the front of the shoe.
Make sure to check out the other Design Team Members Blogs for more packaging ideas. You can find all the links on the right hand side bar.

TSMONDAY, Celebrating Dads!
I used the Hawt Dawg set for this card. I coloured him in with copics. For the shirt, I masked off the 'hawg' on the sentiment to only use the 'dawg' part and then I used a fine tip marker to right in the 'Top'. The tiny stars were made with a MS punch. I popped up the image panel.
The card base is night of navy, with a layer of yoyo yellow. I bought this dp last year from our local stamp store, it's from Adornit.
The sentiment was made with an EK paper shaper set.
I hope you can play along. Make sure to upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog with Mr. Linky. This weeks prize is the Hawt Dawg set used here!
Recipe
Stamps: Hawt Dawg, EK Stamp Holiday (sentiment)
Paper: night of navy, yoyo yellow, white, Adornit rough & Tough stripe dp
Ink: memento tuxedo black, yoyo yellow, night of navy
Accessories: copics, MS stars punch, circle punches, ribbon, dimensionals

Going Buggy!
Okay so the vision I had in my head was a clean and simple card, not my usual, but I pictured a white card base with the butterflies and tag as you see them. But I tried it, and while it looked nice, I just couldn't stop there! lol So this card is not CAS but it does have bugs! well if you count butterflies as bugs, I guess they're the nice pretty kind.
I stamped the butterflies on white with versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. Then I sponged in pumkin pie and pixie pink. I also went over them with the Niji pearlescent watercolours. Once I got over my fear of getting the paint wet, I realized this stuff is super easy to work with! I had a hard time getting a good pick of the shimmer, you can kind of see it on the pic below.
I used 3 different sets from Mark's Finest Papers for this card. Daffodil & Anise (butterfly and sentiment), Ferns & Chickadees (frame in fancy tag), and Spring & Easter (butterfly).
The white background was in my scrap bin already embossed with the ornamental iron EF. The butterflies and the tag are popped up. I added gems to the tag too.
Recipe: Daffodil & Anise, Fern & Chickadee, Spring & Easter
Paper: black, pixie pink, white
Ink: versamark, black, pumpkin pie, pixie pink
Accessories: ornamental iron EF, nestie fancy tag, Niji pearlescent watercolours, gems dimensionals

Speedy's Challenge #6, Buttons and Bows!
I used the Chickdee from the Ferns and Chickadee set. I had orginally stamped him with memento black and coloured him with copics, but then I decided he needed a boost so I stamped him again with versamark and embossed with black embossing powder. I cut this one out and popped it up on the original. which is a label #3 die that's also popped up.
The card base is riding hood red, with a layer of natural ivory, and then kraft embossed with the allegro EF, because birds do like to sing! I sponged the edges of the kraft with Tim Holtz antique linen.
The ribbon is from SU, it was in the Christmas mini. the button is from my sewing box and I used linen thread to tie it on.
Recipe
Stamps: Ferns and Chickadees
Paper: riding hood red, natural ivory, kraft
Ink: versamark, memento tuxedo black, riding hood red, Tim Holtz antique linen
Accessories: copics, black EP, label #3, allegro EF, ribbon, linen thread, button, dimensionals, sponge

The center was made with the Spellbinders eyelet pendant and circle nesties. I finished it off with dimensionals, taffeta ribbon and little yellow gems!

It's a Boy Thing!
I never know where my inspiration will come from, and today this sketch helped me decide on this designer paper from the DCWV summer stack. Then the designer paper led me in the birthday direction, which then gave me the idea cut out one of the party hats for my cute little guy!
The image is Sean, he's a Bugaboo image now available as a clear stamp at Totally Stampalicious! coloured him with copics. The hat is cut from the dp, but the top tassle thingy was made with one of those tiny $1 punches.
The sentiment is from Mark's Finest Papers, and I finished it with brads, unevenly spaced lol, but they're stuck there now!
Recipe
Stamps: Sean Totally Stampalicious, sentiment MFP
Paper: night of navy, more mustard, white, DCWV summer stack

Ramon is a flamingo still on the lam after flying the coop and leaving the Sedgwick County Zoo behind, with his good Buddy Gustav!
In their travels, Gustav met the love of his life! So now Ramon is on his own. He's decided to continue on, with the hope that his true love is out there somewhere. But until that time comes, he's going to take time to stop and smell the roses! lol
I made Ramon with punches, Body: 2 step bird punch with beak cut off
Head: 2 step bird wing, 1 pink, 1 white, trim white to shape
Neck: EK swirl flourish punch
This was my first attempt at the paper roses made with the big flower punch from SU. I used this fantastic tutorial by Julie Wiliams.

Dorothy's Going Camping!
This is the new Dorothy & Toto stamp from Riley and Company. I coloured her with copics and cut her out.
I followed the directions for the Tent Card here, out of white cardstock. Then I covered the inside and bottom with the yellow dp that reminded me of a yellow brick road, it's from Reflections. The outside is dp from the DCWV summer stack.
The flower was made with Marvy punches and a jumbo brad. The ribbon is white satin with gingham to match the brad. The opening was made with oval nesties.
Recipe
Stamps: Dorothy Sophie
Paper: white, DCWV summer stack, Reflections - Mom's Diner
Ink: memento tuxedo black
Accessories: copics, Marvy flower punches, jumbo brad, satin ribbon, gigham ribbon, oval/scallop nesties

Speedy's Challenge #5, Silhouettes
I decided to make a masculine card. I used the trees in the Our Family Tree set.
This was one of those cards that I could see in my head but had trouble getting the effect right! I started with regular whisper white, but then when I stamped my trees with stazon the stamp stuck like glue and didn't leave a very nice impression! So then I decided to add some ink to my stazon pad and redo the background onto glossy white cardstock. The colours aren't very virbrant on the glossy...don't know why! The trees are better, but still not the best image...again don't know why!
I also started out using this weeks colour challenge barely banana, garden green, close to cocoa, with a bit of soft sky. I ended up ditching the close to cocoa, because I liked this colour combo.
The cardbase is black, with a layer of garden green stamped with the weathered BG stamp. I also stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set as the trees, in black on the bottom.
The main panel is matted on barely banana and black. I added mini black brads to the corners, and then popped this panel up.
Recipe
Stamps: Our Family Tree, weathered BG
Paper: black, garden green, barely banana, glossy white
Ink: garden green, barely banana, soft sky, baja breeze, so saffron, black stazon
Accessories: sponges, brads, dimensionals
