TSMONDAY, Wine Not?

Hello Everyone, congratulations to all the Totally Stampalicious Blog Hop winners!

Now onto this weeks challenge, I made this card for the Totally Stampalicious Monday Challenge TSMONDAY! This weeks challenge to to make a humorous card!

I combined this weeks humorous challenge along with the C4C34, and I used the same layout as Silke. When Silke first started using this curved edge punch, I loved it and had to buy one. This is the first card I've made with it, and I think Silke's layout pairs perfectly with it!

This is the new Bugaboo image JJ cook, she is now available as a clear stamp at Totally Stampalicious. I coloured JJ with copics. Her glasses, lips and wine glass have crystal effects on them.

I know it's short notice, but I hope you can play along!

Recipe
stamps: JJ cook
Paper: chocolate chip, kiwi kiss, K&co Amy Butler lotus, white
Ink: memento tuxedo black, rich cocoa
Accessories: copics, circle/scallop nesties, oval punch, word window, EK embossed curve edge punch, crystal effects, ribbon, button, MS bakers twine, love language EF

Of course Charlene is just a big tease always peeking over the fence to watch him! I wonder if she'll give in! lol

Charlie and Charlene are both from cdstamps.com, and I coloured them with copics. The sentiment was computer generated!

WOOHOO IT'S BLOG HOP TIME!!!

Welcome to the Totally Stampalicious Blog Hop!!! Wait till you see all the great stuff the Design Team has come up with to show off the Brand New Line of Stamps!

Totally Stampalicious has teamed up with Jodie Mackrell of Bugaboo Stamps, and tonight is the Grand release of some fun Bugaboo images now available in clear stamp form! They are cute and funny, there's something for everyone!

If you are a Digi person, and prefer the images in Digi, they are only available at Bugaboo stamps, however if you prefer rubber then these images will be available for purchase starting tonight at 10 pm at Totally Stampalicious!

Well first I'll tell you about the cards, and then I'll include the BLOG HOP details below!

My first card above was made with Stella Nurse, this image cracked me up when I first saw it, it's one of my favorites! I combined it with the CC267 colour challenge this week, basic appealing shadows with the dessert option of using lace.

Sage shadow kinda reminds me of the colour of hospital gowns, which I've seen more than my share of, that's why I find this funny!

Stella was coloured with copics, and I added crystal effects to her glasses.

The flowers are from the 3 flower punch and the stems are made with the 2 step bird punch.

This is me in my kitchen...I wish! lol No really this JJ cook, I love the sentiment! I was inspired to use wine colours, so the dp is from Basic Greys Indian Summer. The card base is bravo burgundy with a layer of white.

I coloured JJ with copics, except her apron, it's dp. I added crystal effects to her glasses. She's drinking blush wine tonight, and she's a Rachael Ray fan so she's using her orange handled spoon! lol

The sentiment is popped up on a fancy tag and I added some yellow crystal brads to finish it off!
This is Stella Birthday! I love Stella, I think she's hilarious! She comes with another sentiment that says "what's one more friggin' candle!"

Today I used this weeks sketch challenge SC277. The card base is melon mambo stamped with the weathered bg and edges sponged.

The so saffron panel is embossed with the numbers collage embossing folder, and edges sponged. The dp is from the Welcome Neighbour pack.

I coloured Stella with copics, added so crystal effects to her glasses and candle flames. I also added dazzling diamonds to the cake and party hat.

I'll have more to show you tomorrow.

RILEY0710, Lovely Garden!

Hello, it's Tuesday time for the bi-weekly challenge at Riley and Company. This weeks challenge RILEY0710, is hosted by Cindy, and she's challenging us to include chipboard on our card or project!

I used Garden Riley for my card today. I coloured him with copics, but his boots are dp. I left the image in the nesite and sponged on creamy caramel and soft sky. This focal image is popped up.

The top was embossed, and the edges pierced, which fits for the technique lovers challenge TLC269.

The chipboard flower was from the $ store. I covered it with dp, and added a smaller punched flower in the center with a gem brad. I cut the back off of the brad so it would lay flat.

If you want to play along, make sure to leave a comment with a link here at the Riley and Company Blog, and please use the keyword RILEY0710 when uploading to SCS.

If you want to see more fabulous creations with Riley, check out the Design Teams Blogs Tanya, Frances, Cathy, Cindy, Dana, Patti, Silke and Therese.

MMTPT89, Pork Chopper to the Rescue!

This weeks Teapot Tuesday Party MMTPT89, is in honor of Faith (Markies Mom) and of course her side kick Speedy the Cat! Faith is nearing the 100,000 comments on SCS, shes worn out, and now Speedy is up to his usual tricks, hiding stamps, knocking things over and doing just about anything to cause a scene and get Faiths attention! So Faith has decided to sent Speedy on a little vacation to see Kittie Caracciolo (Kittie747) so she can teach him how to create a beautiful artistic scene!

Speedy has been slow to get ready for his vacation, hes worried the rumors are true! Youve probably heard the rumors that have circulated for 42,000 some odd years now...about the existance of...Slater the cat hater Gator!!!! What ever will he do if he comes face to face with a cat hating gator???

It is a little known secret, that Speedy the cat is very well respected by the Head Hawg of the local biker gang...Pork Chopper! This guy thinks so highly of Speedy the cat, he even had his likeness tatooed on his arm. Unfortunately the tatoo artist didnt graduate at the top of his class, so his work isnt as clear as it should be!

Anyway Pork Chopper, head of the largest bike gang around, with 100,000 members, has made it his personal mission to deliver Speedy the Cat safe and in one piece to Kittie so he can create the perfect scene!

No way will those gators be bothering Speedy! and of course he enjoyed the ride with the wind blowing through his black silky fur...what a life he leads!

Stamps: Road Hawg, Our family Tree, Speedy the cats friends, snakeskin-inkadinkado
Paper: tempting turquoise, black, white
Ink: memento tuxedo black, versamark
Accessories: copics, black ep, copic atyou spica silver, brads, distressing tool, circle punches, word window, dimensionals

Please forgive my bad grammer, my laptop is typing รจ instead of an apostrophy!!!

SU Calling...mark your favorite page!

Hi everyone, I finally inked up my Tote-ally Tess set, what fun! I made this for this weeks technique lovers challenge, TLC268 - save the page. The challenge is to make a bookmark card. I decided to try something different!

When picking a set to use I immediately thought of Tess, and thought what a great bookmark she would make to keep in the Stampin Up catalogue...course if you're like me, you'd need a lot more than one! Anyway I made this for my friend and Stampin Up demonstrator Sue. I tried to use everything Stampin Up, which I think I accomplished except for the MS fence, and copics for her skin and hair!

I stamped Tess onto white, and then masked her off. The background was sponged, with creamy caramel & close to cocoa on the bottom, I also used the itty bitty background stamp for the brown & green. For the faux bushes or grass, I used certainly celery & old olive. The clouds were made with the scallop circle for a mask and soft sky sponged on.

Tess's clothes are all from the cottage wall dp, along with the tote bag and the card. I used the stamp-a-m-jig to position them where I wanted.

The bookmark is held in by the fence which is attached with a strip of 1/4" foam tape. The leaves are made with the sizzix leafy branch, I glued them done with the glue marker just on the stems. The flowers are made up of white from the 3 flower punch, pale plum from the retired spring flower punch and rich razzleberry. The fence, leaves and flowers hold the bookmark in place.

Stamps: Tote-ally Tess, itty bitty backgrounds

Paper: pale plum, rich razzleberry, white, old olive, dp cottage wall

Ink: black, creamy caramel, close to cocoa, certainly celery, old olive, soft, sky, rich razzleberry

accessories: copics, sponges, circle scallop punch, circle punches ((top of bookmark) eyelet, old olive taffeta, ribbon, stamp-a-m-jig, Martha Stewart fence edge punch, sizzix leafy branch, 3 flower punch, spring flower punch, brads, 1/4" foam tape

This week Totally Stampalicious has a great sale on, Get the Hawt Dawg or Rockin Frawg for only $10 each!

To celebrate the sale, this weeks challenge is to make a card or project with a critter on it. I made my card an odd size 5.75" square, and I used the Rockin Frawg! I also combined this with the Crazy 4 Challenges C4C32, we were to use 1 ribbon, 2 brads or buttons, and 3 punches.

I love that critters are so versatile, I used Rockin Fawg to make this baby card. The inspiration came from from the dp.

I coloured Mr. Frawg with copics. I used 1 button and 1 brad, hope that counts! lol I didn't have the right colour star brad, so I covered it with a star made with a MS punch. I also used the small SU star punch, and a Fiskars star punch.

I used this weeks sketch challenge SC275. Riley was stamped onto very vanilla and coloured with copics. His car is dp from the $ store, and the hub caps and bumpers are covered with a sakura stardust pen for sparkle.

Have a Great Day!

Yo! Yo! from Frizzle Da Dizzle!

Ok I had so much fun playing in last weeks Teapot Tuesday challenge, I had to play again!
I also must say that I was overwhelmed by the warm welcome from the other teapotter's and I thank you all so much for your kind words!

This is for this weeks challenge MMTPT88, Yo! Yo! It's Frizzle, Da Dizzle, Da Teapot Sizzle!

This is Frizzle Da Dizzle! He's a famous Frizzle rap star!

Well I have NO chicken stamps, so I thought hmmm...maybe I could make one out of punches! So I looked through the punch art gallery at SCS, and found this card made by NellieKC. Then of course he had to be transformed into a true rap star, mouth bling and all!

The card base is black, the red pieces were stamped with the woodgrain stamp and edges sponged. The center piece is so saffron with edges sponged.

The Rapper himself was made using a nestie oval, 2 of the fancy labels for wings, circle scallop for top & chin, marvy flower punch for feet, oval for beak, scallop edge punch for glasses, and a white piece with bling for teeth!

Don't you love his necklace! I couldn't believe it when I found that charm in my stash!

So there you have it homeys! lol
Have a Great one!

Thanks for the Favor!

Hi Everyone, if you remember a little while ago I mentioned my Girlfriend was nice enough to leave her new cricut machine at our house while on vacation! So after an afternoon of playing with it, with Olivia, her friend and my Neice, I decided to see what other cartridges were available! Big mistake, this thing is growing on me!!! I ended up buying the Tags, bags and boxes cartridge! That's how I ended up making this tree, it's one of the boxes.

The technique lover's challenge this weeks TLC267 do me a favor, is to make a favor box or container. When I first saw this tree, I immediately thought of Timber Riley from Riley and Company! Wouldn't it be cool to give this as a Thank You to someone who's kind enough to tree your tree, bring you firewood, or lend you a tree trimming tool!

I used the cricut to cut the tree from certainly celery. Then using the itty bitty bg stamps, and certainly celery & old olive, I stamped on some texture and then sponged the edges. For the trunk, I used chocolate chip & the woodgrain bg stamp, then I sponged the edges with chocolate chip.
Timber Riley was stamped with black, onto white. I coloured him with copics. Added clothes, because it just seems wrong to cut trees naked...and dangerous! lol The image was cut and layers onto a nestie scallop circle.
I'd love to hear what you think, have a great day!
Laurie

The challenge is open to everyone, if you upload to a forum like SCS please use the keyword RILEY0610 so we can see what you come up with. Here's the sketch...

I used TV Riley, and I chose a sentiment that would still let me use the card for more than one occasion. I'm thinking birthday, Father's Day, or maybe even a thank you.
I also used todays colour challenge at SCS, CC265, certainly, tempting, suede. I stamped my image onto white 2 times and once on Basic Grey dp origins. One was cut with a circle nestie, and coloured with copics. On the second one, I just coloured Riley and cut him out. For the dp, and coloured the pillow & tv stand with copics and cut out the sofa.
The rug was made by masking out the sofa & tv stand, then I punched an oval in a piece of paper and sponged on certainly celery.
Why not pop over to see more wonderful creations from the DT:
I hope you can play along!

Hop Diggity Dawg! TSMONDAY23

Hello again, it's Monday so that means lots of activity at Totally Stampalicious! They recently had a Guest Designer call, and the winner has been picked! Melissa from My Paper Obsession will be Designing with us for the next release, so Congratulations Melissa and Welcome!

Also the congratulations to Lori Turner, she was last weeks Monday challenge winner.

There are a couple unclaimed prizes from our recent blog hop, check out Totally Stampalicious to see if you're a winner!

So onto this weeks challenge TSMONDAY23, we challenge you to make an easel card. You can find a tutorial here.

I know you're probably thinking....what the heck!!!! But I can explain! I am often drawn to the funny Teapot Tuesday stories hosted by Cindy aka Mothermark. After reading the challenge last week MMTPT87, this popped in my head and I've been dying to sit down and make it, but first I had to make all my Easter treat baskets! So it's a little late, but here goes!

Hop diggity dawg, Brutus is so confused! He's a bunny that's not into Easter and a wanna be dog who prefers bones to carrots any day!

I used the Hawg Dawg set, and altered it a bit using a set called Bunny Nuggets from cdstamps.

I stamped and cut out some of the bones to pop them up. The carrots were made with half a heart and the MS fern punch. I also added fun flock to the tail.

To keep the card popped up, I cut out one of the hearts from the dp, backed it with cardstock and popped it up. I love dimensionals!

Make sure to upload your easel card to Mr. Linky on the Totally Stampalicious blog.

Happy Easter Part #1

Hello Everyone, I hope you all ha a great Easter. I know I did, we got to spend lots of time with my Family! My Brother and Sister in law had their annual Easter egg hunt on Friday, and we all had dinner together yesterday, Sunday.

These are the Easter Treat Baskets I made for my Girls this year. When I first saw Tammy's Cutest Bunny Ever Tutorial, I made sure to save it, because I knew I had to make these cute bunnies!

Then I came across this bunny treat holder on SCS made by Stampin Fanatic, and I decided to combine a couple features! I used all the punches listed on Tammy's blog, and added the paws and carrots from the other!

All the edges were sponged, did you see the great idea Tammy has for holding her sponges? I think I'm going to go get some of those clips and give it a try!

I can't get overhow cute these

turned out, and I think the girls really liked them!

I have lots more Easter stuff to show you, so make sure to read on.

Have a Great Day!

Laurie

Happy Easter Part #2

I made these little Easter Treat baskets for my Nieces and Nephew. I love the way they turned out, and they were so easy!

I used the Easter Basket Tutorial at SCS in the resources section to make the baskets.

I came across this cute little punch bunny made by Mercedes and just had to give it a try! The carrot was made using 1/2 of a heart, from the SU 3 heart punch, and the top is a Martha Stewart leaf punch. I glued the bunnies feet to the basket, added pop dots to the back of the bunnies body and positioned over the feet.

The sentiment tag was made using oval punches and a stamp from Mark's Finest Papers.

Have a Great Day!

Laurie

Happy Easter Part #3

Here's some pics of the Easter Cards I made for my family. I decided to make it easy and do the same for all three and just switch up the colours!

I used the new Chocolate bunny stamp from SU. I stamped him in versamark onto chocolate chip and embossed with clear powder. The scallop oval punch was used to make the bite marks.

The grass was made with the Martha Stewart grass punch, and I popped it up. The whole image panel is popped up too.

The background was embossed with the bloom dots embossing folder, and the sentiments were computer generated.

I finished them all off with white taffeta ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you all had a great Easter!

Laurie
