Hello, I hope everyone made it safely through hurricane Irene! It's time for another Totally Stampalicious Challenge! This weeks challenge is to make a bookmark...since there will be many books cracked open next week with the start of school here!
I used the new Fairytale Charlotte by Sylvia Zet! What a beautiful image, with such delicate lines, complete with 3 sentiments!
Please note that due to an error in the file we sent to our manufacturer, there is a spelling mistake on one sentiment on this stamp set therefore we are selling this set for a discounted price of $7.95. The images/sentiments still stamp perfectly!
I actually used the sentiment with the mistake on my bookmark today, it says 'your' instead on you're....I hadn't even noticed!
I coloured Charlotte with copics and added some shimmer with a gold copic atyou spica pen.
The base of the bookmark is metallic gold with a layer of blushing bride and then the white. The corners were notched with an EK punch.
I'm all out of gold jumbo eyelets, so I made one with cardstock! First I punch a hole with the largest hole on the crop-a-dile in the gold cardstock, and then I punched around it with a 1/2" circle punch! Makes a great inexpensive jumbo eyelet!
I finished it off with some ribbon and fibre!
Please join us in our challenge, just make a bookmark, any style, and upload your creation to the Totally Stampalicious Blog!
Have a Great Day!
