Keepsake Ornaments for 2009!

I was doing my usual daily surfing at SCS, and was totally awed by this stunning ornament made by YvonnAna. I couldn't get over the layers and the victorian feel I was truely amazed! I give my girls an ornament every Christmas, and decided to make this years using Yvonne's fabulous design. She even posted the recipe here. You have to check out the rest of her blog Yvonne's stamps, paper & ink, it's truely amazing! So Thank You Yvonne for helping me make this years ornaments.

I used all the same parts, but I changed my main image to Mrs Clause, from Riley & Company. For the small snowflakes in the background, I used a stamp from the Serene Snowflake set.

I let Olivia choose between the bashful blue or riding hood red, and she decided on the bashful blue.

I sponged on bashful blue, used copics to colour & the hanger is bashful blue taffeta with sheer white ribbon

Rachel's is the red one. I used riding hood red because I wanted to use the taffeta ribbon, I love that stuff. I had intended on using vanilla with the red, but I forgot and didn't remember until I had Sophie all coloured!

Donna's is lavendar lace. Her favorite colours are orange & purple, so this seemed like a good choice. Orange just doesn't seem like Christmas to me!

To make the snowflakes softer, I stamped in ink, then on a scrap paper, then on my circle. Sophie's outfit and the snowflakes are covered in iridescent ice glitter.

Stamps: Mrs. Clause, SU Serene Snowflakes

Paper: white, riding hood red, lavendar lace, bashful blue

Ink: memento tuxedo black, riding hood red, lavendar lace, bashful blue

Accessories: copics, circle/scallop nesties, floral accent nesties, dimensionals, sponges, pearls, iridescent ice glitter, ribbon

Have a Great Day!

Happy New Year! and some gift cards

I ended up needing a few gift card holders for Christmas so I used some great ideas I found on SCS. Unfortunately I forgot to get a picture of the inside of te snowman holder! This one opens at the top, like a card & has a pocket inside. I was inspired this one by genescrapper, and this one by Toy.

Paper: white, black, scrap of pumpkin pie, garden green & real red
Ink: pink sponged on cheeks
Accessories: MS Holly Punch, top note die, circle punches, swiss dot EF, stickles, ribbon

The adults in my family traded names for Christmas this year, and we had a limit of $5.00. I had my Brother's name & figured he could at least use a gift card for Timmy's! The stocking gift card holder TLC248 challenge was perfect for this. I copied the pattern, which you can find following the link, this was a super easy project!

Again I forgot to take a picture of it open, but the top flap opens and the gift slips inside you can view Lynn's stocking here

Paper: dp?, textured riding hood red, very vanilla, scraps green & red
Ink: riding hood red
Accessories: Tag punch, hole punch, MS holly punch, eyelet, ribbon, bakers twine

This is the Beanie gift card holder, TLC251. Another quick gift card holder that can be decorated any way you want! I went with a fairly simple design since I was running out of time! The snowflake is a mini tree decoration & I cut the circle off that had the thread hanger...does that make sense?

Ha! I actually remembered to take a picture of it open. This was for my Daughter Rachel so she can put some songs on her new ipod.

Paper: SEI dp
Accessories: Scallop edge punch, soft sky ribbon, mini snowflake decoration, snowflake punch, flower punch. eyelet.

Teacher Gift!

I'm so behind, I have several last minute things I made for Christmas and didn't have time to post, so I'll be catching up over the next few days!

I made this for Olivia's Teacher. It was a combo Christmas and goodbye gift, as he will not be returning after the New Year. He was filling in for her Teacher who was on maternity leave, he will be greatly missed.

The treat container was made using the TLC250 shipping tag bag/box challenge, my shipping tags were a little larger, so I adjusted the size to fit mine. We filled the box with homemade peanut butter squares!

For the card, I used the SC259 sketch challenge. I love these colours together, and it still looks masculine even with the glittered trees.

Stamps: Patterned Pines, Punches Three (tag on box), Delightful Decorations (sentiment on box)

Paper: close to cocoa, very vanilla, dp merry moments

Ink: versamark, real red, Tim Holtz antique linen

Accessories: green tinsel EP, scallop edge punch, square scallop punch, jumbo eyelet, circle punches dimensionals, star gems, ribbon, felt ribbon

Hope you have a Happy New Year!

Candy Cane Lane!

So you're not out fighting the crowds on the last Saturday before Christmas!!!! I agree, surfing the net is way more relaxing, and fun!

This handsome guy is from Totally Stampalicious in a set called Snowmen. I stamped him on white & coloured with copics. His hat & scarf were stamped separately, coloured and cut out. The image panel was cut with my new nesties Label #8. I cut a couple extra pieces for the bottom too.

I attached the bottom pieces with temporary tape, then embossed the whole thing with the swiss dot EF. Then I removed the bottom pieces, added the glitter and then reattached them.

I was so happy to get my new Candy cane stripes EF. I embossed the red background piece, then ran the edge of my white craft ink pad along the raised edges.

The sentiment is popped up, and I added sheer ribbon. The candy is a mini tree decoration, just like the snowflake in the post below!

Have a Great Weekend!

Mrs Clause Loves Snow!

I made this for the Crazy 4 Challenges C4C15. I know talk about last minute! I actually had this done early in the week, but life got in the way!

So this is the beautiful new Riley stamp called Mrs Clause. You can now find Riley stamps at his new home Riley and Company. She definitely looks like she enjoys the snow more than me!

I stamped her on white, and coloured with copics. All the furry bits of her outfit & the snowflakes are covered with dazzling diamonds EP.

The card base is soft sky, with dp from the SEI pad winter song.

I used sheer white ribbon, and white taffeta ribbon. Now here's a cool tip, the snowflake is actually a mini Christmas decoration! If you're going to rush out & buy some, save some for me, I'm planning on stocking up on these, and after Christmas they'll be really cheap! lol

Have a great Weekend

Christmas Cards Galore!

I'm sorry I've been falling behind on my posting, so here's a whole bunch of Christmas Cards! I don't know where to start! okay here goes, most are made using Stampin up stamps, I'll list the recipe under each photo.

I love the one above, it's so pretty!

Stamps: Tree Trimmings, Hampton Art Joyous Holiday (sentiment)
Paper: real red, very vanilla, DP Christmas Cocoa

Accessories: gold EP, ribbon, gold cord, dimensionals. victoria EF
I had an idea in my head, and it didn't quite turn out how I had envisioned! lol Oh well this isn't too bad! I was dying to try the new champagne mist glimmer paint, so I mixed it with baja breeze ink.

Stamps: Patterned Pines, Lots of Thoughts

Paper: baja breeze, white

Ink: baja breeze

Accessories: champagne mist glimmer paint, silver cord, word window, small oval punch, dimensionals

It's hard to capture the glimmer on this one, but I used the same mix of ink and paint as above.

Stamps: Serene Snowflakes, Inkadinkado Warm Holiday Wishes-sentiment

Paper: soft sky, white, vellum

Ink: baja breeze, soft sky

Accessories: nestie circle, snowflake brad, dimensionals, champagne mist glimmer paint

I totally love this colour combo! I bought the this green tinsel EP a while back at Michaels, it matches garden green pretty good!

Simply Angelic Snowman!

Hello, well a little late, but I made this for the Monday challenge on the Totally Stampalicious Blog, TSMONDAY9. This weeks challenge is to keep it simple, which couldn't have come at a better time for me! I think this was the fastest card I've ever made, but it still has layers & texture!

I also used this weeks sketch challenge at SCS, SC258.

The card base is white, with a layer of white embossed with the swiss dot EF.

I stamped the snowman from the 'Snowmen' set in memento tuxedo black. I used copics to colour & a gold pen to colour in the halo.

Then I embossed the end of this panel with the snowflakes EF. I couldn't decide what colour ribbon to use, so I went with this multi coloured sheer ribbon. This whole panel is popped up.

The sentiment, also from the snowmen set, was stamped with gold encore and punched with the large oval, and popped up.
There's still time to make a simple card for the challenge TSMONDAY9 and you have a chance to win a $10. gift certificate!
Thanks for stopping by!

Singing Ornament Angel!

Hi Everyone! I love looking at blogs. When I saw these ornament angels on Sandi MacIver's blog, I had to give it a try!

I also realized that I had been to Sandi's blog before, she has such great ideas, you should check them out!

So the card base is pretty simple, riding hood red, with a piece of old olive embossed with the petal a plenty EF, then a piece of dp from Merry Moments pkg.

I used the ornament punch and punched 2 from vellum, and 1 from riding hood red. Then I embossed the red with the petals a plenty EF. I sponged the edges of the red with red, and the edges of the vellum with gold encore.
The angels face is 3/4" circle punch. The hair 1" circle punch, the halo is golf metallic cardstock punched first with the 1-1/4" circle punch and then the 1-3/8" circle punch.
The sentiment stamp is from Flourishes "Poinsettia & Boxwood". I used the 1" & 1-1/8" circle punches on the sentiment and popped it up.
I drew in the face, and sponged the cheeks...I know that needs some work!
I finished it off with riding hood red taffeta ribbon, and gold cording!
What do you think?

Dasher's Peaceful Wishes!

Hello, I made this for the colour challenge this week CC247. We were to use black, soft suede, very vanilla & sparkle and glitz in any colour! I chose red for my bling colour!

I started with a black card base, and then a layer of soft suede and a layer of very vanilla embossed with the Victoria EF, only on the top part. I stamped the bottom with a sentiment from SU Peaceful Wishes, and embossed with black EP.

The main image, Dasher, was also stamped with versamark onto very vanilla & embossed with black. I used the oval/scallop nesties to cut it & the layers out. Then I added tiny red gems to the antlers.

The strip across the middle was made with the Martha Stewart pine needle edge punch (quickly becoming a favorite) I popped this piece up & then added red ribbon from Michaels.

Let me know what you think,
Laurie

Deck the Christmas Tree it's a sketch challenge!

So here's Riley decorating his Christmas Tree, I wish he'd come & do mine! Riley can now be found at his new home, Riley & Company. The sketch challenge #12 at Delightful Sketches is being sponsored by Riley & Company. Make a card using this sketch, and follow the steps on the link provided to have a chance to win 3 wood mounted Rileys of your choice. You have til Dec. 10th to enter.

My card actually started with dp, but somewhere along the way it was ditched! lol This picture does not do it justice, trust me it looks better IRL!

I stamped Riley onto the natural ivory and coloured with with prisma colour pencils & oms. The tree is paper pieced with a scrap from Basic Grey. The ornaments were coloured with a red atyou spica and this I added some diamond stickles. This panel is popped up.

The card base is riding hood red, with a layer of natural ivory, and a strip of red embossed with the Christmas Ornament EF.

I love this new Martha Stewart edge punch, it's called Pine Needles. I used it to make the 2 strips in old olive. The ribbon is SU Sleigh bells.

The sentiment is from a set I ought at Michaels called Joyous Holiday by Hampton Arts. I used SU markers to colour it & punched it out with the punch who;s name I always forget! It's popped up on top of a red oval!

So why not give the sketch a try, and upload your card here, remember you have til Dec. 10th!

Jackie's Birthday!

Hi Everyone! Isn't this just the cutest image. It certainly brought back lots of childhood memories for me, and reminded me of my sister & I playing with our big old male tom cat named Ginger, he was our baby. He must have had patience, or he was so tired from roaming the streets for days at a time that he didn't care what we did to him! lol

One Christmas, my sister (probably 5 at the time) got a beautiful baby buggy! I was sure Santa brought it for my Mom who was expecting my Brother at the time, but my parents were sure it was for my Sister. lol We loved to dress Ginger in baby bonnets, and the smocked baby gowns. So one day my Sister had Ginger all dressed up & took him for a stroll down the street in the baby buggy and I guess he decided he'd had enough & took off running! (can't you just picture the big Tom running through the backyards all dressed up like a baby! LOL) He did return home, but without the cothes!

This beautiful image and many more can me found at Mo's Digital Pencil, this one is Danielle and Muffin.

I coloured the image with copics. I chose the colours based on the SU DP razzleberry lemonade. The image was cut out with the largest die in the Lg petite oval nestie set. I cut around the edge & matted with melon mambo. This panel is popped up.

The card base is rich razzleberry with a layer of white, and a layer of dp.

The white piece was made using the Spellbinders classic frame die, and I sponged on some crushed curry.

Then a piece of rich razzleberry cut with the nesties label one die.

The sentiment is from a set I bought at Michaels by Stampology called Always & forever seals. The center circle is from the SU set Make it count. I added a tiny gem to the center.

I was dying to use my new rich razzleberry ribbon, so I had to include some!

The card base on this one is purely pomegranate, with a layer of white, and then a layer of kiwi iridescent by Canson embossed with the new Victoria EF.
The image is from Flourishes, stamped onto white & coloured with copics. I stamped the flower head again & added a bit of glitter with an atyou spica pen. Then I popped it up.
The sentiment is from SU Warmest Regards.
I finished it off with gems & ribbon.
Next up is a Sketch challenge using Riley!
Hope to see you soon

Cyber Teen Birthday!

Hello, I made this for my Daughter to give to her friend for his 17th birthday! I know it sounds like I'm repeating myself, but her friends are twin brothers so the card I posted earlier was for his brother!

I gotta tell ya we're pretty close to the US border, and just knowing people are smelling and eating turkey so close is making me crave some myself! Hope you're all enjoying your Thankgiving!

This card features Cyber Riley, and he can be found at his new home Riley & Company. I stamped him on white & coloured with copics. I masked him & sponged the background, but that looked horrible! so I cut him out & attached him to white. I also accidentally cut out his desk, but I wasn't completely happy with how I coloured it anyway, so his desk is now a piece of scrap dp!

The card base is black with a layer of kiwi kiss, and then the memory keepers Teen Angst DP.

The sentiment is from 'Birthday Whimsy'. First I stamped it in black, and then used the stamp-a-ma-jig to offset it with kiwi kiss. Then I cut it out with a die from the nesties 'Tag Trios'.

The sentiment is popped up, and I used black grosgrain with brads to tie it off. The brads were yellow, and I covered them with the copic YG03 to make them more kiwi kiss colour!

Tanya the new owner of Riley, just posted a challenge today on the Riley & Company Blog, you should check it out, it's a sketch challenge she sponsoring at Delightful Sketches & all the info can be found following the link. Plus the prize is 3 Riley stamps of your choice!

Have a Great Day!

Teen Skater Birthday!

Hello, I made this for my Daughter to give to her Friend for his 17th birthday! Boy they sure grow up fast!

I stamped the image 'Extreme Skateboard' in black stazon onto glossy white. Then I used those make up triangle sponges to drag colour across. I used yoyo yellow, pumpkin pie, certainly celery and ruby red. The image is matted onto black & popped up.

The sentiment is from the 'Party Punch' set. I ony used yellow and red on it. Then I punched it out with the 1 1/8" circle punch & popped it up on a 1 1/4" black circle.

The card base itself is black, with a layer of yoyo yellow, edges distressed, then a layer of DP from the Memory Keepers Teen Angst pad. I love this pad, I seem to use it a lot!

I finished it with some faux suede.

So I found out the hard way, that even though stazon & memento are both permanent inks, stazon works best for this. I actually had my whole card assembled with the images stamped in memento. I didn't notice til the next day that they weren't shiney at all! So stazon dries with a shiney vibrate black & memento looks chalky!
Have a Great Day!
Happy Thanksgiving!

A Birthday Rose!

Hello, I made this using todays colour challenge CC246, pretty in pink, old olive & bermuda bay.

The rose from 'Fifth Avenue Floral' was stamped 3 times with versamark onto pink & embossed with black EP. I used pretty in pink ink & a water brush to shade in some areas a bit. Then I cut out them out, layered them & used dimensionals to pop some bits up.

The leaves were made with the sizzix little leaves die, and I sponged the edges.

The card base is pretty in pink, with a layer of bermuda bay, black, and a layer of shimmery white embossed with the Textile EF.

The sentiment is from 'Warmest Regards' stamped in bermuda bay and punched out, sorry I can't remember the name of this punch! I added little black pearls and popped the sentiment up.

Have a Great Evenings!

Emma's a Big Sister! TSMONDAY7

Time for another Challenge at Totally Stampalicious! This weeks monday challenge is to make a tag! While most of us could use Christmas tags right now, I wanted to make a tag/bookmark for Emma, she's the oldest Daughter of our Niece. She just became a new Big Sister. We bought a small gift for her so she doesn't feel left out when we bring over the gift for the baby. So this will be the tag and she can save it & use it as a bookmark!
I used the new Willameana set. I love when sets are versatile & can be used for other occasions!
I started with the tag die from Stampin Up. The cute little bear was stamped on white & coloured with copics, he's popped up on dimensionals.
I used the smallest die in the heart nesties set to make the hearts. The sentiments were computer generated and cut ut with circle punches.
I sponged the edges, added an eyelet and some ribbon, and there you have it!
So what kind of tag can you come up with? Don't forget to link your creation to Totally Stampalicous TSMONDAY7 for a chance to win a $10. gift certificate.

I used the sketch challenge C4C12, over on the Crazy 4 Challenges blog. There's a new challenge posted every Saturday.

I stamped Riley with noir black palette onto white & coloured with prisma colour pencils & oms. The dp is from Daisyd's, it has lots of sock monkey papers.

The sentiment tag was made with a die from the Provo craft pack Tiny Tags.

Check out the new Riley & Company Blog, for all the latest news!

TSMONDAY6, Snowman Glitter Globe!

Hello & Happy Rememberance Day! I made this card for the Monday Challenge on the Totally Stampalicous Blog TSMONDAY6. We were to use glitter.

This is part of a new set 'Snowmen' released by Totally Stampalicous last Friday! There are tons of possibilities with this set! When I saw this Snow Globe Card tutorial by Libby Hickson posted on SCS last week I knew I wanted to use my new Snowman set.

So this weeks challenge was to use glitter...who doesn't love glitter! well as I'm typing this I realize I used glitter embossing powder!!!! I hope that still counts...it makes the same mess all over! lol

I stamped my snowman onto white, and coloured him with copics, I added glitter, yep real dazzling diamonds glitter, with a quickie glue pen, to his melting bits. Then I cut the snowman out.

I followed the directions of the tutorial to cut out my pieces. I a circle nestie to cut the acetate. The top snowdrift & the edge on the front were covered with versamark & embossed with iridescent ice ep.

The first snowflakes I stamped in craft white, and then found out that won't dry on acetate! So I used a little goo gone on a cloth to wipe my acetate clean & started over! If you use stazon, I used opaque white, it drys!

I totally forgot to take a picture of the inside, and I'm too lazy to go back downstairs, the sentiment says 'I think I need a higher SPF' lol it's one of the many stamps in the set.

There's still time to enter the challenge to win a $10. gift certificate from Totally Stampalicous, why not give it a try?

Have a Great Day!

Big News & Willameana Revealed!

First the Big News! I was Totally Thrilled when Joycelyn Turner aka stampsncoffee & Rebeccah Kuhne aka auntbaba246 asked me to Guest Design for there new stamp company Totally Stampalicous!

I've posted a few cards on my blog using their stamps, and now I get to show you the brand new stamps for November!

Meet Willameana (love her name) she has a lotta explaining to do, and is hoping to get into Santa's good book!

I stamped Willameana onto white & coloured with copics. Well actually now much colouring, because her pj's & headband are dp. I also used the white inkessentials pen on the pockets & colour, and a sakura stardust pen on her zipper to make it a bit sparkly!

The card base is always artichoke, with a layer of soft sky embossed with the snow dot EF. The dp is from Basic Grey. I punched a square out of the always artichoke & cut it crosswise for the 2 triangles. The soft sky pieces on top were mmade with the Nestie fancy tag die, and I just cut it in half. I finished it off with gems.

The main image panel and the triangles are popped up.

Willameana is available in the store now, and don't forget there's still time to enter this weeks challenge!

Stamps: Willameana

Hey there's a new challenge over on the Totally Stampalicous Blog! This weeks challenge TSMONDAY5, is to paper piece, and the prize is a $10. gift certificate!

The image was coloured with copics. I also went over the red bike parts with a red copic atyou spica pen. Then I masked out the Hawg and sponged in coloured for the background. I used the SU itty bitty background set to make the dirt.

The red card base has sponged edges, and I stamped the sentiment Road Hawg with versamark.

Also don't forget to sign up for the newletter at Totally Stampalicious, and you could win a $100. gift certificate! You can find all the details here.

Swine Flu?

Well I said I'd never buy a digital stamp, my Friend Cathy aka emptynextstamper, is on the DT at Mo's Digital Pencil, and after seeing the beautiful images she's created I had to take a look! So of course the images are just too beautiful to pass up! This is my first attempt at using & colouring a digital image, and this Swine Flu image just cracked me up!

I made this for the #4 challenge on the Mo's Digital Pencil Challenge Blog. The challenge was to make a fancy fold card, anything other than a typical A2 fold card! OK I know this isn't an elaborate fold, but I love this tent topper card, and it's a little different than an A2, so I hope it counts!

I coloured the image with copics, and cut it out with the octagon nesties. I popped the octagon up on dimensionals.

I used the computer to print out the sentiment tag. It says swine flu? on the front, and Get well soon! on the back.

Let me know what you think.

Reindeer Fun!

My Girlfriend & I went to the big Creative Festival in Toronto a couple weeks ago. When I spotted this Reindeer stamp I had to get it, I love the expression on his face. The stamp is from Rosewood Canada and it's called Reindeer Toboggan.

I stamped the image in black & coloured with copics. Then added dazzling diamonds glitter.

I also stamped the card base with a great backgroun stamp I found that day from Local King Rubber. They had tons of fabulous background stamps!

The icicle edge was made with the Martha Stewart edge punch. The snowflake is also a Martha punch. I found the button in my button box from my sewing days.

Have a great day!

Orange Giesha Girl! HSC93

Hello, I made this for the Friday challenge on the Hanna Stamps forum. Jeanne is the host of this weeks challenge, but unfortunately she was called away on a Family emergency. Cathy aka emptynextstamper has stepped in to post the challenge for her, you can find it here HSC93, we are being challenged to use orange!

Well this Beautiful Giesha girl took on a life of her own! I only knew I was using orange, and from there I was drawing a blank! But somehow it came together & I really like the way it turned out!

The card base is black, white a layer of pumpkin pie. I used a fan in the Giesha Hanna set, stamped in versamark to make the background on the pumpkin layer. The edges are also sponged.

The next panel is just old olive, edges sponged layered onto black.

I used the new Fancy Tags nestie to make the fancy piece across the middle. I cut 2, one from black & one from Taken with Teal. The blue one has sponged edges, and I off set it a bit so the black shows through.

The Beautiful Giesha Hanna was stamped with memento tuxedo black, onto white & coloured with copics. Then I used the Nesties Label #6 die to cut her out. This panel is popped up, and I added black rhinestones & the tiny butterfly to finish it off.
The huge sale continues at Hanna Stamps, I think it ends this weekend, so you might want to shop now for the best deals!

So what do you think?

HSC92, Is The Moon A Halloween Shape?

Hello, I made this for the Friday challenge on the Hanna Stamps forum HSC92. The hostess this week is Kerry. She has challenged us to make a Halloween shaped card!

Okay have you seen the amazing cards the DT has made so far? They're amazing you have to check them out HSC92 Gallery.

I kinda went the easy route on this one, but it was what popped into my head, so I went with it. I know it's just a circle, but I did try to make it look like the moon! lol I used glossy cardstock, and cut a circle with the 2nd largest coluzzle circle. Then I sponged on yoyo yellow in the middle and various shades of green going from lightest to darkest towards the edge. Then I ran it through the CB with the spots & dots embossing folder.

The Witch on Broom Riley was stamped on white, and coloured with copics.

Stamps: Witch on Broom Riley

Paper: glossy white, white, black, orchid opulence

Ink: noir black palette, yoyo yellow, green galore, certainly celery, old olive, always artichoke, orchid opulence

Accessories: circle coluzzle, spots & dots EF, sponges, circle punch, Martha Stewart punch, dimensionals, circle nestie

So what shape will you make?

Two Challenges, Detective Hanna & Sweet Sixteen!

Have you ever started a card, not been thrilled with it? That happens to me...too often! When I decided to pack it in for the night (last night) I really wasn't happy with this card! But today when I got back to it, it all seemed to come together! Sometimes that's all it takes, a little break & we see things in a new light!

I combined 2 challenges here, the Friday Challenge on the Hanna Stamps Forum, HSC91, Hosted by Sandra. She challenged us to pick an obscure Holiday in October & make something. I think mine fits for 'Awareness' month, and maybe even 'Sarcastic' month. lol

I also used the new challenge on the Crazy for Challenges blog, C4C8. Vicki challenged us to use a minimum of 3 geometric shapes. I used a rectangle, circle & oval.
I made this for my Daughter Rachel to give to her Friend for her 16th Birthday.
I used the new Detective Hanna. She's coloured with copics and her outfit is paper pieced.
The #'s are chipboard, covered in glitter. I used the nesties to cut out the circles. There's a brooch pin attached to this and I attached it to the card with velcro. So it can be pulled off, and worn as a badge!

Stamps: Detective Hanna, Sentiment -Totally Stampalicious
Paper: rose roed, white, Basic Grey DP lemonade
Ink: memento tuxedo black
Accessories: Happy Birthday EF, circle/scallop nesites, oval punch, copics, crystal effects, Martha Stewart glitter, chipboard #'s, brooch pin, velcro, dimensionals
Have a Great Day

I used the Totally Stampalicious set 'Hawt Dawg'. I stamped the dog in memento tuxedo black, and coloured with copics. The image panel is popped up.
I made the 50 with Justrite stamps.
The not quite navy & dp pieces have sponged edges. The black pieces have distressed edges.

TSMONDAY4, Spooky Lighting!

Hello, this weeks challenge over at Totally Stampalicious, is to stamp on something other than paper! You can find the challenge and all the details on the Totally Stampalicious Blog here, so you can play along!

Okay I'm not 100% sure mine counts because I stamped on vellum, does it count as paper?

I used black cardstock 8 1/4" X 3". Score at 2",4", 6" and 8"

The top was made with the Martha Stewart fence edge punch, but would probably look great with the spooky fence punch, or the web or whatever you have on hand.

I made the windows with the lg square punch from Stampin Up.

I stamped the spider & web from the 'Witch Brawd' set in black onto vellum pieces measuring 1- 7/8" square.

I used the little battery operated tealights for safety. Sorry the pictures aren't too great, I was having trouble getting the light right!

Thanks for stopping by, and you should give these a try, they are super easy!

Hanna Stamps Fan Blog Hop!

Running a bit late, but here it is! I have been dying to use Mason Riley on a gift jar filled with candy lego! Don't you think he's perfect for that!

I bought the glass jar at the Dollarama. I also found the wire mesh in the craft section at the Dollarama. I'm not sure if it was a great idea though, because the edges are sharp & I now have a few cuts on my hands! Maybe I should wrap it around the chocolate I shouldn't eat! LOL

OK so I used my stamp-a-jig and stamped the brick wall on 2 strips of white. Then I coloured them in with copics. By then my eyes were blurry and my hand was cramped!

I also stamped Mason Riley and coloured him with copics. I used nesties to cut the image, mesh & cardstock.
For the lid, I used the bricks & graffiti set. Then cut them out with nesites.

Stamps: Mason Riley, Brick wall, Graffiti
Paper: white, black, metal mesh
Ink: black
Accessories: copics, nesties,

Now I'm going to hop! Here's a list of all the participants.
